My Aunt Irene is having a birthday and she rides a Harley, so One Wild Ride is the perfect stamp set!  I love the combination of Harley and pink and sparkly.  Hope your birthday is awesome Aunt Irene!

Have I shared my DIY summer project with you?  Several years ago my kids wanted a backyard trampoline, but Superman was worried someone might get hurt.  Later, I decided to ask for a trampoline for Mother’s Day and Superman gave in.

We’ve had the trampoline a long time and the springs are starting to rust.

So Abby and I went to WalMart and bought 16 $1 pool noodles.  I used a utility knife and cut each noodle lengthwise.

I then cut the noodles into 6 pieces, the length of each spring.  My trampoline has 96 springs.

Isn’t it cute?!  I love it!  Did you also notice I also have a “Hosta Farm” under my trampoline?  My friend Teresa gave me a few hostas several years ago.  I’ve been growing them under my trampoline and then moving them out to areas around my yard.  My yard is full of hostas now.  So…are you wondering who jumps on the trampoline?  As the kids were growing up, lots of days after school we would go out and jump, talk and I would listen to my kids.  This summer I didn’t always have a kid at home, but I still jump even by myself.  (Remember, I was a gymnast!)  I like to go out in the mornings and weed, water, and take card of my flowers and vegetable gardens.  Before I go back in, I usually jump on the trampoline.  It’s a great way to get your heart rate up fast. I always hope no one sees me.  The neighbors have never mentioned it.  They are probably embarrassed for me!

Blessings,

Beth 🙂

Paper Pumpkin Alternative-June 2016

StampinUp Birthday card made with the Paper Pumpkin June 2016 kit as an Alternative card, designed by demo Beth McCullough. Please see more card and gift ideas at www.StampingMom.com #StampingMom

Many of you signed up to get the $5 Paper Pumpkin in June.  I hope you love it!  I’m making cards out of most of my Paper Pumpkin kit.  I’d love to give you some ideas or you can come to the free class for my Paper Pumpkin subscribers on Thursday at 9:30am or 6:30pm.

This is my favorite card so far.  What do you think?  The Happy Birthday is gold embossed.  I think embossing makes any card look fancy!

debbie and john

You might have wondered where I’ve been again?  Our good friends Debbie and John Gorman were here visiting for four nights from Alabama.  We had a wonderful time, but I don’t think I stamped anything while they were here.  Not their fault, however, I did do some gardening and Superman and I went on a long bike ride.  I’m doing a couple days of RAGBRAI, so I need to get some practice in on my bike.  Do you know about RAGBRAI?  It’s a seven day bike ride across the state of Iowa.  Anyone who thinks Iowa is flat, has never been on RAGBRAI!  Between my trips and company I need to get my stamping mojo back.

My baby started his first official job today!  He’s still 15, so jobs are limited.  Keegan is a bag boy at a Fareway grocery store.  At this store they do things the old fashioned way and carry groceries out to your car.  He came home very happy from his first day of work.  He said he loved it because it was easy, he met some great people, both customers and employees and best of all they paid him!  Keegan is motivated by money.  Keegan’s favorite person today was an older gentleman.  Keegan was carrying his groceries out to the car and asked the man if he should “pop the trunk?”  The man replied without missing a beat, “I haven’t buried the corpse yet, so you better put my groceries in the back seat.”  Keegan is hoping for many more customers like him with a great sense of humor!

Have a great day!

Blessings,

Beth 🙂
