National Friendship Day
There’s something special about a friend who feels like home.
When I saw the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper, I couldn’t help but smile. Winnie the Pooh has reminded generations of us that friendship isn’t about grand gestures—it’s about showing up, listening, sharing life’s sweet moments, and simply being there.
For this card, I paired the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper with the Everyday Arches Dies to create a peek through the Hundred Acre Wood. Pooh, with his little pot of hunny, is waiting outside the door, reminding us that sometimes the greatest gift we can give a friend is simply our presence.
If someone came to your mind while looking at this card, maybe that’s your reminder to send them a note, give them a call, or let them know how much they mean to you.
After all, that’s what cardmaking is really about—creating something meaningful, connecting with people, and encouraging others.
