PPA267

I have fourteen nieces and nephews and over half of them were born in September and October.  I am mass producing birthday cards right now.  When I saw this PPA Color Challenge, this birthday card popped into my head.

You can see I layered the balloons.  The Pool Party balloon is adhered to the card base.  The Crushed Curry balloon is attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The Tangerine Tango balloon has a double layer of Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used retired Designer Series Paper on the Pool Party and Crushed Curry balloons.

Flower Patch Razzleberry Flower

StampinUp All Occasion card made with the Flower Patch stamp set, designed by demo Beth McCullough. Please see more card and gift ideas at www.StampingMom.com #StampingMom

My sweet mother-in-law, Ruby, had a birthday party on Sunday.  I wanted to make her a special card.  A flower from Flower Patch is embossed with clear embossing powder and Rich Razzleberry ink and cut out with Flower Fair Framelits.  I love making a stem with the cute and funky “line” from Tin of Cards.  The 1″ Dotted Lace Trim in Cucumber Crush makes fun leaves.  The swoosh of grass is from Sheltering Tree. The center white piece is popped up with dimensionals.  I almost always decorate the envelope to match.  The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the Brights Color Collection.

I think Ruby liked her card!  Please leave a comment at the top of the post and let me know what you think.

Your Presents-Birthday

presents

Here is another make and take from the 2015 Stampin’ Up! Convention.  The card shows how the stamp set, “Your Presents” is so versatile.  It looks like a totally different set using it as a birthday card.  Another thing I really liked about making this card was doing the Kissing Technique to make the plaid present.  I’ll make a video to show you this fun and easy technique.

I’m also happy that Stampin’ Up brought back Silver and Gold Cording Trim in the new 2015 Holiday catalog.  Customers can  order from this catalog beginning September 1!
