The Bee My Valentine Bundle will be in the upcoming Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog and you’ll want to be sure and get it. It’s not just for Valentines or traditional black and yellow bees. I had fun making this sweet thank you card with Tahitian Tide, Flirty Flamingo, and Daffodil Delight, with sponged and splattered Pool Party in the background. With the Bee Builder Punch this project is ready in no time!

Here’s some other projects I’ve made with the Bee My Valentine Bundle:

Steve and I were blessed to spend a very fun weekend in Texas hosted by our oldest son, Sean, and his sweet wife, Amy. On Saturday we drove to New Braunfels to attend Wurstfest. Wurstfest is a festival originally created to celebrate sausage in 1961 and has grown into an annual bash which draws thousands of visitors a day to the dedicated Wurstfest Festival Grounds. Many of the visitors come in traditional German attire as you can see in this picture. The guys wear lederhosen and typically a plaid shirt. Lederhosen are like short overalls made of leather. Sean never liked dressing up so I’m guessing that this shows just how much Sean loves his wife. Amy looks adorable! Sean, Amy and their friends go tubing on the river often during the summer at this same location in New Braunfels.

Steve and I drove to Texas on Wednesday and came back on Sunday. It takes us about 15 hours each way. We were very excited our son, Ryan, and his sweet wife, Bree, were able to fly down and spend the weekend. Here’s Steve and both our sons with their wives. On my Wednesday post, I’ll have more pictures and stories about our trip.

There were several different bands playing at three different venues while we were there. Steve and I danced the polka and the waltz a couple times, which was very fun. We even taught all four of the young adults to polka. What fun!
