Mother Ocean Day is celebrated annually on May 10th to honor, appreciate, and protect the world’s oceans. Founded in 2011 by marine artist Angelina Marino, this day raises awareness about ocean conservation, marine life, and the ocean’s vital role in sustaining life on Earth. 

One of the ways to celebrate Mother Ocean Day is to clean up the beach. Steve does this each time we visit Cayman Brac.

They found Nemo!! Steve took this picture with his GoPro camera. The beauty of the colorful fish and corals shows just how precious the ocean is, and why it is worth protecting.
