Recently I was asked to make a box to fit Tic Tac Gum and Tic Tac Mints. I like the challenge of figuring out new box sizes! I was also happy to see the Daisy Punch will be continuing in the new catalog. Do you have it yet?

It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge!  I love being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0032 is Mother’s Day (May 12) and/or Pink.   #festivefridaychallenge  I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us.

If you need help figuring out how to enter, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’d love to help you!

  1. Corner Round the top two corners with the Detailed Trio Punch.
  2. Put adhesive on tabs E and F. Put adhesive on back side of tabs C and D.
  3. Attach adhesive side of Tab C to front side of Tab A.
Attach adhesive side of Tab D to front side of Tab B.
  4. Attach adhesive side of Tab E to back side of Tab A.
Attach adhesive side of Tab F to back side of Tab B.
  5. Attach glue dot or velcro dot to flap and fold down. If you would like to tuck the flap instead, cut off 1/2″ of the top and corner round the top edges again. See the note on the picture below- (5 1/2 tucked) that means cut your cardstock 4-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ instead of 6″ if you just want to tuck your flap inside the box.
  6. Assemble the card as shown in the picture.  Email me with questions at Beth@StampingMom.com

2019 Calendar Card

Festive Friday Challenge

It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge!  I love being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0021 is Celebrate 3-D Day  (Dec 3) and/or One Layer Card. You can earn points to choose free items from our Festive Friday Store! #festivefridaychallenge

One of the great things about this calendar is you can mail it like a regular card and then the “stand” pops out for use. I love this saying, “Live with passion, Laugh out loud, Love deeply”  I did all these things last week in Orlando at the Stampin’ Up Convention.  I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. 🙂

So it’s very rare that I would travel so much.  Four weeks ago I was in Buffalo, Iowa helping at Steve’s parents, the next week we were in Seattle to visit Sean and Victoria, Canada, last week I was in Orlando, FL for the Stampin’ Up! convention.  I thought we should play, “Where’s Waldo? or Where’s Stamping Mom? and see if you can guess where I was this week based on the view out my window!

I’ll draw a winner from all the guesses and send you the 2019 Calendar card!

Blessings,

Beth 🙂

We have an event coming up on Saturday, July 21 at my Stamping Studio in West Des Moines.  You get to make adorable cards and gifts and receive gifts we’ve made for you as well!  Even if you’ve never stamped before, we will be here to help you and a lot of the prep work is done for you.  Please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and let me know you’d love to join us.  Each session is $20 or $35 for both sessions.  See the flyer above for more details.  I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Happy 4th of July to those in the USA!  My sweet Abby spent hours making a special lemon cake for our family 4th of July celebration.

4th of July lemon cake with "sparklers"(made from melted Jolly Ranchers), baked by Abby McCullough.

I must admit cake is usually not my favorite treat, but this truly was the best cake I’ve ever had! Grandpa and Grandma were quick to take additional cake home with them when they left.

Sean and Keegan were pretty sad they weren’t here, when the texts started going out about the cake they were missing.  Sean lives and works in Seattle. Although he comes home for many holidays, he can’t come for all of them.  Keegan is working as a counselor at our church camp in Okoboji and having an awesome summer!  Keegan grew up going to Family Bible Camp every year of his life and now gets to help other families have the same wonderful experience.  The families who have Keegan as their counselor never lack having someone to push their kids on the tire swing. 🙂

Have you heard about the ultimate bundle special this month?  You can choose $125 in products for $99, pay no shipping and choose one “family” (set of 10 ink pads) for free. Yep, almost $200 for $99.  After that you can buy Stampin’ Up at a 20 discount for several months.  There is no further obligation.  You can have fun on my Stamping Mom Joy team and continue to buy at a discount or stop at anytime.  Another happy person bought the ultimate bundle from me today and can’t believe what a good deal it was.  There are no strings attached.  Email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’ll help you.  Can’t wait to hear from you!

Blessings,

Beth 🙂
