James’s birthday card is in the shape of a “1” using the Darling Dinos bundle.
I can’t believe it’s been a year already since James arrived two weeks before his due date and made Steve and I grandparents for the first time. What a blessing he is! I absolutely loved being a Mom to my four kids, but being a Grandma is even better! All the good stuff and his parents get to do the “not as fun” stuff. I had an amazing, Godly Grandma who I adored. I hope to be that for James. It’s a privilege to get to care for him two days a week with some bonus evenings and weekends. His smile lights up a room and he has beautiful big blue eyes like his Mom. I can’t share his picture on social media, but he is adorable! James loves to be outside and go on stroller rides. He is very curious and is determined to figure things out. He likes reading with me and singing with his Grandpa Steve. If you have any Grandma advice for me, I’d love to hear it either as a comment on this blog or email at Beth@StampingMom.com

Congratulations Grandma Beth and Grandpa Steve! I don’t subscribe to any of the social media sites but do watch your postings later. Bob and I have just become Great Grandparents for the first time and it is just as wonderful and joy filled as becoming grandparents! Enjoy every minute and my advice is give lots of kisses, hugs, reading and, if possible, singing or humming which can calm down a “bad hair day” toddler.
