Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team’s theme is “Fun Ways to Use Your Stampin’ Up! Products” where we show our favorite product tips. We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

These Diagonal Fun Fold cards are easy to make, but you need the Stampin’ Up Trimmer to make them. Most other trimmers don’t fit an 8-1/2″ x 11″ cardstock diagonally.

If you have an abundance of Designer Series Paper (DSP), cut it at 4″ x 5-1/4″ and then cut it in half diagonally. These cards look great in both the horizontal and vertical positions. Use any shape on the front and layer it if you’d like. All you need is your Stampin’ Up Trimmer, DSP, and coordinating cardstock. In a few minutes, you’ll have a stash of cards ready to send or a gift set ready to give to a friend.

I love to make fun fold cards and this Double Step card is one of my favorites!

I’ve attached a 1/4″ x 11″ strip of cardstock on the ruler of my Stampin’ Up Trimmer. It makes it easy to make cards like this one where you cut from 3″ down to 7″ instead of cutting through the entire piece. The Stampin’ Up! Trimmer is only $25 and needs to be in every crafter’s collection.

Even if you’re a seasoned stamper you may learn a tip or trick from my Stampin’ Up Trimmer video found here. (I also show where to attach the strip of cardstock to make it easier to see the ruler on your trimmer.)

More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on July 14th for “Wonderful Cards from the Garden” when our Design Team creates a project with flowers or scenes from the garden. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Fabulous fun folds! This hand-penned DSP is gorgeous and your simple sentiments really allow the DSP to do all the work for the cards. Beautiful!

Great special fold projects. Thanks for tips with trimmer. I am terrible at cutting things that are a different shape like triangles.

Love the reminder on the trimmer. The diagonal cut cards are so pretty with that DSP.
