Soft Spring

Welcome to the Pals’ June  Blog Hop. We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects using “Anything with Wings” You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

I love the new Soft Spring Host set which you can purchase for $9.50 with an order of $150 or more. It uses two step stamping and looks like it’s been watercolored. My “wings” are these tiny dragonflies which were fussy cut and are floating between the flowers attached to strips of Window Sheets. The card itself is a Double Step Fun Fold. I’ve been enjoying making fun folds lately because my Stamping Joy team members love them and keep sending me new ideas for fun folds. I think it’s time to add a new Fun Fold Friday feature on my blog!

Were any of you wondering why I made the card with Petal Pink, Pool Party and Old Olive? Well, the original idea was to have the dragonflies flying in front of my favorite Bird Ballad DSP which uses these colors. In real life it looks really nice, but it didn’t photograph well, so I did it again with the Pool Party behind the dragonfiles. Which one do you like better?

Here’s some cute projects made with the Soft Spring stamp set.

More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, July 10, 2019 when our Hoppin’ Pals share their “Mixing It Up” projects. Don’t miss the fun!

Great card layout for this set (which I have not yet gotten but plan to!). Love the idea of floating the dragonflies! I thought to enjoy one lovely card was great, but then you added more projects!! Way to go, Pal!

Great card, Beth! I thought I loved the first one until I saw the second one. You can just see the dragonflies fluttering around the garden.

Such a pretty fun fold card, Beth! You are such an enabler with this stamp set that I have overlooked till now. You may have convinced me to get it! Love the colors you chose. In fact, I just used PP and OO together on another card. They really go well together. GREAT card!

I never would have thought to add the two pieces of window sheet like that. Genius. I like the pool party version best but both are great.
