It’s easy to make cute and simple cards that are sure to make the recipient smile. My sweet daughter came home from college last weekend and made me a delicious homemade carrot cake for my birthday. It was amazing! She is quite the baker. Abby just made dozens of chocolate chip cookies to raise money for charity. She also makes baked goods for everyone’s birthday in her lab. Is there someone in your life that bakes for you and you could surprise them with a sweet card like this?
Here’s some more cards I’ve made with this suite. On the card above I had fun coloring in the little flowers. This was quick and easy.

Beth, your baking goat is just too sweet! I especially love the look on her face. I love all the fabulous texture on the base and the pops of black tie all the layers and elements together. Love it!

Every time I see this set used I notice a different animal doing something fun – this card would indeed be perfect for a baker! I love to cook and bake – we had a Bank Holiday here yesterday and I made a giant fondant fancy sponge cake – it was delicious!
Fun cards! You had me at carrot cake, just my all time favorite. But, I have lots (too many) other favorites to list some healthy and lots not so much! Hope you are feeling better and that Steve is on the mend or at least coping well.
