Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Focus on the Sentiment. Our Design Team are showcasing a sentiment as the focal point of their project. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals share with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The Merriest Moments stamp set has great sentiments to use when you want to focus on the sentiment. I used only the stamp set and coordinating Merriest Frames Hybrid to make these cards. This full size easel card is made with traditional Christmas colors- Night of Navy, Real Red and Shaded Spruce. Easel cards are easy to display, but fold flat for mailing in a regular Medium size envelope (A2). I love making fun fold cards and also cards that are bright and happy.
Here’s a video showing how to make this card. I show how to make lots of fun fold cards on my YouTube channel, if you’re interested you can subscribe here.
Here’s the details-
- Card Base 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored 2-1/8” and 4-1/4”
- Inside- Basic White 3” x 5-1/4”
- Inside- Strip 1” x 5-1/4” embossed
- Front- Basic White 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” embossed
This card was made with the nontraditional Christmas colors of Starry Sky, Polished Pink and Parakeet Party. Which do you prefer- traditional or nontraditional? Please leave me a comment and let me know.
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on October 12th when our theme will be a color challenge!
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
