It’s time for another Festive Friday Card Making and Paper Crafting Challenge!  It’s fun being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0121 is National Family PJ Day which is November 14th.

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! It doesn’t have to have anything to do with National PJ Day. #festivefridaychallenge  I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. If you want help entering, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’d be happy to help you! From the Inspo List I used family sentiment, circles and square card.

I combined our Festive Friday Challenge with the Creativity Abounds Stamp Camp picture challenge shown above. It was super fun trying to make a card looking at the picture, but also using the Festive Friday Inspo List. I’m really happy with how it turned out. We do online Stamp Camps every quarter with Creativity Abounds and this weekend is the Boughs of Holly Stamp Camp. I can’t wait for a weekend of crafting fun!! Whether you’re a demo or customer, you’re invited to join us next quarter. Please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’ll give you all the details.

This is a 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ square card. I’m going to use the Envelope Punch Board to make a custom envelope for it. This type of card costs more to mail, but I’m going to hand deliver this card to a very special friend of mine. I love making pies for my family’s birthdays and holidays. Donna Martin is my dear friend who taught me how to make homemade pie crusts. Do you make pies? What kind is your favorite? My specialty is apple. My secret is to use several different types of apples. I also make pecan for my Dad, and coconut cream for my family. If I were being totally honest, coconut cream is my favorite so I might be making it for me, too. 🙂 Please leave me a comment and let me know your favorite kind of pie.

Wonderful design inspired by that photo! Lucky for me my mother-in-law is an awesome pie maker so I get the benefit without any of the work!

My favorite pie is pumpkin but a close second is apple crumb. I dont always make my own crust though. I’ve gotten lazy!

Love how you incorporated the combination of textures on your card Beth – so fun to see your picture inspiration too! I am rather partial to a mince pie at this time of year, but do love a key lime pie … and a cherry lattice pie … and a chocolate silk pie … your post has made me hungry!

My very favorite pie is butterscotch! My mom has made this for me all my life and as an adult, she makes this for my birthday every year! She will be 90 in a couple months, so I really need to learn how to make this pie so I can still have it when she can’t make it anymore!

My favorite pie is pumpkin. I make it with my husband’s grandma’s recipe. But I think most any pie is wonderful!
