Fun Monster Card

Stampin Up Monster card made with Relaxing Waterside dies by demo Beth McCullough. See more card ideas at https://stampingmom.com/fun-monster-card/

This fun-loving monster is the brainchild of Ingrid Heijnen from the Netherlands. She first introduced it while presenting the Relaxing Waterside Bundle at OnStage in Cologne, Germany, in March 2026. I thought it was such a fun and creative idea, and I couldn’t wait to make one myself!

Ingrid is part of the Creativity Abounds Design Team, and a couple of weeks ago she taught all of us how to make these adorable monsters during our Stamp Camp. As soon as the class was over, I stayed up that night and created this bright, happy monster card. It made me smile the whole time I was making it!

I hope this little monster makes you smile too! Sometimes the most unexpected projects become our favorites. Don’t be afraid to try something different—you just might discover a new creative favorite.

Let me know if you’d like me to do a video showing you how to make it!

Welcome to another Festive Friday Challenge!

This challenge is inspired by World Photography Day which is on August 19. The Inspiration List includes 10 different elements to choose from. Simply incorporate at least three of them into your project and link it up. The best part? Your project doesn’t have to be about World Photography Day at all! #FestiveFridayChallenge

I’d love for you to join us! Create a card, scrapbook page, or 3-D project and share it with the challenge. If you’ve never entered a card challenge before, this is the perfect time to start. It’s fun, free, and a wonderful way to spark your creativity!

If you need help entering, just email me at Beth@StampingMom.com. I’d be happy to help you.

For my card, I chose Black, White, and Frames from the Inspiration List. Which three items would you choose?

Please see all the beautiful cards made by the rest of the Design Team below.

I keep missing you live. I am my husband’s caregiver. I watch when I can. I love your projects and watch replays.
