Does anyone in your life love outer space? Stargazing is an awesome suite in the annual catalog that makes creating space cards fun and easy. My husband and kids love outer space! Steve wrote a book about Mars 25 years ago. Our oldest son, Sean, went to Space Camp twice as a kid.
Last January in Cayman Brac, Ryan, Bree, Steve and I all laid down on the beach to gaze up at the Milky Way. Because there’s no light pollution, we could see all the stars and it was amazing!
Last night during our Live Video we found out that the late husband of our demo friend, Mary Harris, discovered the rings around Neptune. How cool is that? You can read the NY Times article here.
When you open this card you get a pop up surprise with the planets soaring in the air on window sheet strips. I love making fun fold cards and have quite a collection on my YouTube channel. You can check it out here.

I usually have a personal story at the end of the post if you’re interested.

My Joy Team meets every week via Zoom and makes fun fold cards and other projects together. Everyone looks forward to it. We also meet a couple times during the year in person for anyone who can make it to my home in Iowa. In the past our Christmas Party was the week after Thanksgiving, but to give everyone a better chance of attending we moved it to August coinciding with the Iowa State Fair. Several people had last minute issues, but those who made it had a fabulous time. I made everyone my specialty dish- Ziti Cucina and even got out my Christmas dishes. These are very special to me because Steve’s parents gave them to me over several years. We had Steve’s fudge and gifts for everyone who attended. The “joy” box contains the fudge. We did a card swap and made a Christmas tag from the new Festive Tags kit.
