Do you have everything ready for Christmas? This was going to be the year I sent everyone a handmade card and made homemade gifts for everyone! I’ve made lots of cards, but I haven’t mailed many yet. And if by some chance your Christmas cards arrive a few days after Christmas, just know that your recipients will still feel the love and joy from your greeting. Many people enjoy receiving Christmas cards after the 25th. I hope all of my people fall into the “enjoy receiving Christmas cards after the 25th” category. Please leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts on this and whether you got all your cards mailed in time.

You may know my Stamping Mom’s Joy Team and I love to make 12″ x 12″ Samplers (or framed art to hang in our homes) and give as gifts. Sometimes I have extra 3″ x 3″ squares and like to turn them into cards. On the card above, I added a 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ Pear Pizzazz layer and then popped it up on a Real Red card base that I’d run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (SCEM) with the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder. Bam! Easy card done!

This card also started as a 3″ x 3″ square from the Christmas Sampler. I added this to a Mossy Meadow Double Step card base. You can see the template to make the Double Step fun fold card here or watch a video showing how to make a Double Step fun fold card. The video shows my favorite Christmas card of the Season shown below. While you’re over on You Tube, please subscribe to my channel- Stamping Mom. I do Facebook Lives every Wednesday at noon (CST) and upload them to YouTube.

In case you haven’t seen the Christmas Samplers my team and I make, I’ll show you some below. We used the Heartwarming Hugs DSP, which was so popular this year it will be available again next year.

Everyone makes some 3″ x 3″ squares and we swap them so that everyone has a wide variety with which to make their Sampler.

By some small miracle, I made my cards, personalized and signed my cards, addressed and stuffed the envelopes, STAMPED the envelopes and MAILED the cards 10 days ago!!! This is an absolute first for me in umpteen years and was only possible because of being quarantined and not having an excuse to do something else. The reward for me has been so much positive feedback as well as receiving lots of return love in the mail. I do enjoy getting Christmas cards any time of the year and have a friend who sends hers out in July!
I am so in love with some of the SU Christmas sets this year that I am going to continue making Christmas cards after Christmas, specifically In The Pines and the Poinsettia stamp set.
Merry Christmas and big hugs – Lou

Hi Beth – By some miracle, I have made, addressed and mailed all my Christmas cards this year!! I’m still amazed at this accomplishment! I do love seeing all your Christmas cards (and all your cards!) and get a ton of inspiration from them.
I also ordered your product share today and you are correct, there is probably not a better deal out there. Thank you for that!.
I hope you, Steve and all your family have a very Merry Christmas.

Happy holidays to you and your family. Still working on cards and treat holders. I did get part of them out in the mail this past week. Maybe the rest will be New Years cards.

Merry Christmas Beth. I do enjoy your daily news and even your Wednesday classes when I remember it’s Wednesday!
Hope to see you soon. And I did get all my cards mailed before Christmas but I enjoy receiving any tone of the year.
