Stampin’ Up

Last week I posted a “Coaster Calendar plus Post it Notes” that I made in February, with products that are now retired. Here’s the post and also a YouTube video with directions on how to make the Coaster Calendar. So many people liked it, that I decided to make some new ones with current product from the 2015-16 Stampin’ Up! Catalog.  The paper is from the Cherry on Top DSP Stack.  The new In Color 5/8″ Striped Cotton Ribbon looks adorable on these calendars. I already gave this one away today to my wonderful friend and neighbor, PJ.  It would be fun to get a picture of this sitting on your desk at work, PJ. 🙂

I’ve seen lots of Stampin’ Up! coaster calendars and I’ve seen coaster Post It note holders, but I’ve never seen them combined into one.  I thought it would be great to set on your desk at work, so I made this for one of my friends.

Here’s the side view.  I used calendars from Vippies.  4 x 4 square coaster board, binder clip, Stampin’ Up! DSP and ribbon.  I actually made this in February 2015 when the Flashback DSP was current.  I found the pictures again while cleaning up my computer.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

 

 

 

 

Gift Bag Punch Board altered for A2 Cards

• Cut two pieces of cardstock 5 ½” x 7”  Go through all the following steps with each of the two sheets of cardstock separately.
• With paper in Landscape, line left edge of cardstock with “Start Line” shown on bottom left side of Punch Board and “Punch”

• If the paper has a upside and downside, like paper with words on it, put the paper in Punch Box upside down.  This will make the paper right side up when the bag is complete.

 

• Scoot paper to the left and line it up with the left edge of the punch block. See picture. Score all the way across the top (above the triangle) and down the “L” vertical score line.

• Scoot paper to the left again and line up the vertical score line you just made, with the pointer on the punch block. “Punch” Score the “Side” vertical score line. Score around the triangle and down the vertical line in the middle of the triangle, also labeled as “Side”

• Scoot paper the left again and line up the pointer with far right vertical score line. “Punch”

• Cut off tiny tab with diagonal cuts at both ends. See picture above.
• Use a bone folder on all the Score lines.
• Use Fast Fuse or stick strip on skinny tabs and bottom tabs and secure.
• Decorate
