I love making Berry Baskets for little holiday gifts.  This sparkly Valentine Berry Basket is full of Hershey’s Hugs.

I made a coordinating 3×3 card, sometimes called a love note!

StampinUp Gluten Free Sweet Treats- you can find the recipe on my blog www.Stampingmom.com/... Stampin' Up! demo Beth McCullough #StampingMom

A tradition in our family is making Gluten Free Sweet Treats for Valentine’s Day, Halloween, Christmas and other holidays. Back in the day when we first started making this, gluten free wasn’t a thing.  I adapted the recipe and it’s still very yummy!

With the addition of a cute tag, I’m ready to surprise and delight someone!  Stamping can be so quick and easy.  If you’ve never done it, you should try it.

Gluten Free Sweet Treats

  • 8 c. Gluten Free Rice Chex
  • 2 c. Peanuts (I use Trader Joe’s 50% Less Salt Roasted & Salted Peanuts)
  • 1 16 oz. M&M’s ( I typically use the holiday M&M’s)
  • 1 pkg. Almond Bark
  • 4 oz. Snyder of Hanover Gluten Free Pretzel Sticks

Melt Almond Bark in the microwave on low.  Mix in other ingredients and spread onto waxed paper.  Store in a covered dish.

My kids love receiving Reese’s Peanut Butter Hearts for Valentine’s Day gifts.  You can put two hearts in each box.

Please see a previous post about the Valentine Boxes Here

I’ve included links to the Stampin’ Up! products I’ve used, below the Blog Hop Lineup.

I’d love to hear your comments or questions.

Blessings,

Beth 🙂

Clean and Simple Valentine

When I saw the Global Design Project had the theme of Love for this week’s challenge, I knew my husband, Steve, was about to get a Valentine.

I was blessed to become best friends with my husband when we were 12 years old.  He asked me to marry him when I was 14 and we got married at 22.  I’ll save the 14 year old marriage proposal story for another day…

Steve is still the love of my life 40 years later so this shiny, sparkly Valentine is for him.

Yep, I did cut out the center of the Red Foil Sheet to make the heart for the envelope and because Stampin’ Up! Foil Sheets are more expensive than regular cardstock, but oh so worth it!  The red hearts on the card are punched from Red Glimmer Paper.

Hope you’re inspired to make a Valentine for your sweetheart!

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for January 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes.  This month we are showcasing projects using Stampin’ Up! products featuring a theme from any of the following: Valentine’s Day; Thinking of You; Get Well; or Sympathy. All of these themes come “From the Heart.”  We hope you enjoy our creations.

You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.  The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

I was searching through my new Designer Series Paper and was surprised to find that the Valentine paper I like best was in the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack.  Every year my kids get two Reese’s Peanut Butter Hearts in a Valentine Box made with the Gift Box punch board.  Last year my boxes were made with traditional Valentine colors, see the boxes Here

My daughter Abby was busy studying for finals, but thought she should take a break and design and clean and simple card to match the boxes.  Please leave a comment for Abby as this is her blog debut.  She continued with the colors Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo.  I didn’t think to ask Abby who will receive her card…
