Thank You

Best Day Ever – Attempt two

photo (9)

Yesterday I posted the first attempt at this card.  See it here.

I wanted to figure out which card was the favorite to send our friend, and also to enter in Mojo Monday card sketch challenge.  If you are a stamper you should enter the challenge.  See the challenge here.

Please leave me a comment and vote on your favorite.   Abby picked her favorite this morning and we sent it on to our sweet friend.

Did you notice the heart on the card?  I stamped it with the heart from Best Day Ever.  I punched it out with the heart from Itty Bitty Accents punch pack and then covered it with the Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers.  This is the first time I’ve used these epoxy stickers and I love them.  I can’t wait to use them again.  Hmmm, who needs a card with a heart, star or circle on it?

Be awesome today!

Best Day Ever/YOU made My DAY

photo 1 (18)

Our very good friend surprised Abby with flowers and candy the other day.  Of course Abby was thrilled, and wanted to send a very special thank you note.  I decided to use the MOJO Monday sketch 387 and here’s what I came up with for my first attempt.  Tomorrow I’ll show you the second attempt and you can tell me which you like better.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Best Day Ever set which I got free during Sale-A-Bration.  I love the saying, “You made MY DAY,” because our friend really did Make Abby’s Day!  The Calypso Coral Pompom Trim made the card even more special!  I added hearts along the bottom of the envelope.  When the card arrives, do you think they will open the bills first or the envelope with hearts across it?   I know which one I would open first.

Here’s the happy inside of the card.  I left room in the middle for Abby to write a note.

I have been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator since 2003.  It truly brings me joy to make a card and send it to someone who I think will feel joy receiving it!

Watercolor Thank you stack

This simple thank you card was CASED from Susan Itell’s Simple Stampin Feb. 14 post.  Tonight we were invited to fun pizza gathering.  Thirty minutes before it was time to leave, I had the brilliant idea to make some cards as a hostess gift.  What could I make in 30 minutes?  Then I remembered Susan’s post from yesterday, and knew I had the answer.  The only problem was, I don’t own the set she used to make the flower and leaves.  The great thing is you can CASE a card, and just use what you have.  I love the Stampin’ Up! single stamp Watercolor Thank You.  Every stamper needs this stamp.

I made five of these cards and five lined envelopes.

Here they are packaged up and ready to go!  If you own stamping supplies, take a few minutes and make a thoughtful homemade gift.  I’m sure our hostess tonight really appreciated them.
