Blusing Bride Glimmer Paper, Silver Foil Sheets, Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder was what I thought of when I wanted to make a card having sparkle and shine.  Star of Light is my favorite Christmas stamp set of all time!  You also need the Starlight Thinlits Dies to cut out this intricate star in a snap.  I made this card for my Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Teaching Leader, Amy.  Last week we studied John 8 where Jesus says, “I am the light of the world,”  so I thought she would appreciate this card.

Seasonal Bells and Holly Berry Happiness

Stampin' Up Seasonal Bells and Holly Berry Happiness stamp sets make a beautiful Christmas card made by Ruth Sollberger.

Well I’m very sorry to those of you who got a notification of a Star of Light Post.  It will be posted on 12/14 as part of the Pals Blog Hop.  My basement flooded last night and it shook me up so much, I didn’t know what day it was and scheduled my post a day early.

I have something even better for you!  Don’t you love this beautiful Christmas card sent to me by my friend Ruth Sollberger, who lives in Australia.  I got a surprise package in the mail and what an awesome surprise it was!Stampin' Up Seasonal Bells and Holly Berry Happiness stamp sets make a beautiful Christmas card made by Ruth Sollberger.

The Double Pocket Treat Holder with the tea is what Ruth made for her BSF gals for Sharing Day.  The Australia magnet is to remind Superman and I to plan a trip soon to Australia and visit our friends, the Sollberger’s.  I love the New Testament Psalms & Proverbs also.  What a thoughtful gift and fun surprise!  Thanks so much Ruth!

Snickers Boxes

Stampin Up Snickers Box made with Party Animal DSP designed by demo Beth McCullough. Please see more card and gift ideas at www.StampingMom.com #StampingMom #cute&simple4u

My favorite box to make is the cute and simple Snickers Box made with the Envelope Punch Board.  When I was making Display samples for the Kansas City Stampin’ Up! convention, I couldn’t resist including this box.

At the Thanksgiving Dinner at our house, my nephew’s wife saw my Stamping Studio and was excited to make something.  Allie ended up making Christmas Snickers boxes for her entire fifth grade class in Manhattan, Kansas.  I know the kids are going to love them!  I wish I would’ve taken a picture of her boxes.

These beautiful Christmas Snickers boxes were Margaret Coffey’s 3-D Swap at the Kansas City On Stage event.  I was blessed to meet her as she shared her boxes with me, and told me she used my directions to make them..  Here’s the link to the directions.

Here’s other Snickers boxes I’ve made the last couple of years.

If you make a Snickers Box, please send me a picture and I’ll share it with everyone!  As Pat Knight taught me, you can fill them with a full size Snickers or four mini Snickers.

So I got my very tall son, Keegan, to help me with the lights on my tallest tree last night.  Unfortunately  only a short string was still working.  He thought we should put them at the very top so when I bought the replacement lights, I wouldn’t need his help.  That boy is always thinking!

nativity-set

Here’s my nativity set which I absolutely love!  It was hand made in Australia by one of our camp counselors from Okoboji, Paul.  Did you notice anything different about this nativity set?  Typically in the USA our nativity sets don’t include kangaroos.  Sadly my kangaroo got his feet broke off during our construction project.  I’m hoping I (ie Superman) can glue him back together.

Ruth Sollberger, I thought you would especially appreciate my kangaroo.  Ruth is my sweet friend who is a Bible Study Fellowship group leader and Stampin’ Up! Demo in Australia.

Blessings,

Beth 🙂
