It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! This week’s challenge #FF0093 is Balloons Around the World Day which is October 1st.

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. Your entry doesn’t have to have anything to do with Balloons Around the World Day.

For 9 days every summer, Iowa skies come alive as nearly 100 hot air balloons paint the town with brilliant colors and charming special shapes. This happens in Indianola, Iowa, about 30 minutes from where I live. It’s an amazing thing to see. You should plan a trip to Iowa to see the balloons and come and visit Steve and I.

One of my favorite cards to make is my Baby Onesie cards. I’ve sent them to new parents with a baby gift, used them for baby shower invites, and given a set to new Moms to send as baby thank you cards. The Give it a Whirl dies make these baby girl cards the cutest ever with the perfect stitched scallop die. I used the Checks & Dots Embossing folder and the new Star-Crossed Embossing folder.

Do you know the Baby Shark song? It’s a real hit with the under 5 crowd. Our great nephew, Owen, is 2-1/2 and it’s super fun to watch him sing it. If you have no idea what I’m talking about here’s the song. Is it stuck in your head now? You’re welcome! 🙂

You can use the Shark Frenzy Bundle to make darling birthday cards for kids for all ages.

I’ve made the interlocking Stitched Frames before on these Daisy Frame card shown below. You can find directions to make the interlocking frames here. On the shark cards I used the second and third largest Stitched Shapes squares.

The other two cards are fun fold cards that have the front top half of the card cut away. I love the look of the waves on this card.

It’s fun to pick a few colors, cut out all the dies in a set in each color and then go about creating. If you get the Shark Frenzy Bundle, I would love to see what you make.
