Yesterday was such an exciting day as the 2020-21 Annual Catalog began! I got everything ordered for my product shares. Have you made your list?
Here’s a simple fun fold I did during my Facebook Live on Stamping Mom. I do FB Lives every Wednesday at noon Central time. Please come join me! I’ve also uploaded the video so it’s easier to find on YouTube.
Fun Fold 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″. DSP and White pieces 2″ x 5-1/4″
I also do Mystery Stamping on my FB Stamping Mom page on Fridays and throughout the weekend. It’s free and it’s fun! Please come join us!
OK, so I’ve never drank a martini, but I found this to be funny. “Have another Quaran-tini! It’s like a normal martini, but you drink it at home, alone.”
We do so many things at home alone these days. I think this is why most of my crafty friends are handling this situation better than some. We have enough stamps, ink and paper to keep us busy for years! 🙂
Here’s a free pdf with supplies and directions to make this card. You can also see my YouTube video here.
It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! I love being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0060 is First day of Summer (June 21st). The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. If you want help entering, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’d love to help you!
I used watercolor, bright colors and patterns off the Inspo List.
This card is perfect for so many people I would like to thank for their sacrifice. From medical workers to grocery store clerks, everyone going to work each day, sacrificing for all of us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I made this card in honor of my sweet husband, Steve. He was doing a Zoom Board meeting for work. In his defense, he didn’t have pjs on the bottom, but he did have sweatpants, slippers and an untucked shirt. He thought it was funny when I “caught” him doing this. 🙂
Since I’m telling you about Steve’s foibles, I better share a card showing my own. This card represents me and says” I changed out of my Night Pajamas into my Day Pajamas to send you this card.” Lucky for you, there’s no picture of me in either set of pajamas. 🙂
These cards are quick and easy to make because there’s no stamping involved. All the sentiments and pictures are printed from the #sharesunshine digital stamp set. All I did was cut them out and add some cardstock and cute Designer Series Paper. Stampin’ Up! is selling this digital stamp set for only $12 until June 2, 2020. The entire $12 goes to charity.
#sharesunshine is a digital stamp set is packed with both lighthearted and thoughtful sentiments and imagery relevant to the unique COVID-19 and social distancing situation we are currently in. You can use the download in your cardmaking and papercrafting projects. Simply print the imagery on cardstock and cut it out using Stampin’ Up!’s Paper Trimmer, punches, or dies. Since we are physically distanced from each other, now is a perfect time to share sunshine with our friends and family by sending cards!

SINGLE STAMPIN’ BLENDS MARKER UPDATE
You may have noticed that we will no longer offer single Stampin’ Blends Markers. We made this decision based on sales and ordering trends showing that our customers prefer the combo pack, which includes one light and one dark Stampin’ Blends Marker.
If you would still like to purchase single Stampin’ Blends Markers, they will be available until June 2 or while supplies last. If we run out of a single color during this time, the item will no longer be orderable.
Steve and I are celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary on May 31st!
The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. Reef awareness is near and dear to Steve’s heart because he is a scuba diver. Unfortunately, I had trouble using three items off the Inspo List with my current Stampin’ Up! products. There’s some sets in the new catalog that would be perfect, but I don’t have them yet. Instead, I went way back to one of my favorite sets from 2003, the year I became a Stampin’ Up demo, Fishy Friends! How many of you remember this set?
I used water, fish, shaker element and pun sentiment off the Inspo List.
Using the Snow Globe Shaker Domes makes this kind of card a snap! I wish I would’ve put Wink of Stella on my fish to make them like the fish in The Rainbow Fish book. Do you know about this book? It’s one of my favorites. If you have kids or grandkids, you need to read them this book.
The Rainbow Fishstory, a classic that embodies the simple, yet universal message: sharing makes us happy. … His choice not to share soon makes Rainbow Fish a lonely fish. He discovers in the end that in sharing his scales, not only does he bring a smile to others, but he feels happy as well. One of my other career choices if I had it to do all over again, would be Children’s Librarian. I love reading, I love books and I love reading to children. 🙂 Anyway… back to the card!
I feel so blessed to have Steve as my best friend for 44 years and married for 34 years. I gave Steve his Anniversary card tonight and he loved it!
