Kylie’s May Blog Hop

I’ve been doing Mystery Stamping on my Stamping Mom Facebook page every Friday-Sunday, with the supplies posted on Thursday evening. This is free and fun for everyone worldwide! I’ve been using Kylie’s Card Templates and adding metric when I can. (Thanks Kylie!) These Diagonal Fold cards are one of my favorites.

Did you see this beautiful See A Silhouette DSP is on sale while supplies last? I hope you’re going to get it if you haven’t already.

Don’t you love the way these cards open? This card was very easy for me to make using the Stampin Trimmer, but others doing the Mystery Stamping had trouble trying to make it with other types of trimmers. This is another must add to your Wish List.

As you can see, you can make this card either portrait (up and down) or landscape (longer sideways). Do you like it better on the Navy card base or the Whisper White card base? You can also use any type of shape for your sentiment layers. The key here is just putting adhesive only on half of the sentiment layer so the card will still open. Here’s my new project for Kylie’s Top 10 Winners Blog Hop! I love this thank you card and I hope you love it too! Every week on my Stamping Mom Facebook page, I host Mystery Stamping. I post the supplies on Thursday evening, post clues hourly during the middle of the day on Friday and you have until Sunday evening at 8pm Central time (Monday morning in Australia) to post your card and vote for your favorites. It’s free and it’s fun! It adds a new twist to your stamping and you’ll probably find some new card layouts that you’ll want to use over and over again. This week’s Mystery Stamping was inspired by a darling card made by Anne Marie Hile. I’m pleased to have some Australians interested in doing Mystery Stamping with me, so I’m going to add Metric clues as well. I bought Kylie’s Card Templates Tutorial and will be using that to offer the Metric version.

Do you have the Small Bloom Punch from Sale-A-Bration? You’ll find this punch in the new 2020-21 Annual Catalog with a new coordinating stamp set. The colors I used on this card are Lovely Lipstick, Mango Melody, Pineapple Punch, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana and Highland Heather. Lovely Lipstick and Pineapple Punch are retiring so get them now before they are gone. The Glitter Enamel Dots are another favorite of mine that is retiring.
