Today was a very good day! Keegan, our youngest, turned 16 today and got his Driver’s License. He is one happy dude! Keegan is a sweet, smart, kind young man and we feel very blessed to have him as our son.
Abby found out today she is a National Merit Semi-Finalist! Most students in the U.S. take a PSAT test in October of their junior year. The top one percent in each state become a National Merit Semi- Finalist. Next February they announce the Finalists, many of whom get full ride, or free tuition scholarships to college. Abby wants to study Biomedical Engineering and then go to medical school to become a Neurologist or grad school to do research to help cure Alzheimer’s and Dementia. She is thrilled to now have some of her college paid for so she can afford medical/grad school without going hugely in debt. If you have younger kids or grand kids and want to hear more about the National Merit Scholarship program, please let know. I’d be happy to tell you about it and hopefully help make the cost of college reduced for your kiddo too.
Blessings,
Beth 🙂
