Recently I was asked to make a box to fit Tic Tac Gum and Tic Tac Mints. I like the challenge of figuring out new box sizes! I was also happy to see the Daisy Punch will be continuing in the new catalog. Do you have it yet?

It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge!  I love being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0032 is Mother’s Day (May 12) and/or Pink.   #festivefridaychallenge  I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us.

If you need help figuring out how to enter, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’d love to help you!

  • Cut 4-1/2” x 6″ Melon Mambo Cardstock

Instructions

  1. Score the short side of the Melon Mambo Cardstock at 3/4″ and 3-3/4″.
  2. Score the long side of the Melon Mambo Cardstock at 1″, 1-3/4″, 3-1/2″ and 4-1/4″. Burnish all the score lines.
  3. Cut away the top two squares on the right and left. See picture below where it says “Remove”.
  4. Cut on score line between B, D, and F, and A,C. and E. Leave the E and F tabs whole, but cut slivers out of sides of A, B, C and D. This makes the box go together easier.
Directions to make the Daisy Tic Tac Box made by demo Beth McCullough. Shop 24/7 for Stampin Up supplies and see card and gift ideas at www.StampingMom.com #StampingMom #cute&simple4u #simplestamping #StampinUp #BethMcCullough
  1. Corner Round the top two corners with the Detailed Trio Punch.
  2. Put adhesive on tabs E and F. Put adhesive on back side of tabs C and D.
  3. Attach adhesive side of Tab C to front side of Tab A.
Attach adhesive side of Tab D to front side of Tab B.
  4. Attach adhesive side of Tab E to back side of Tab A.
Attach adhesive side of Tab F to back side of Tab B.
  5. Attach glue dot or velcro dot to flap and fold down. If you would like to tuck the flap instead, cut off 1/2″ of the top and corner round the top edges again. See the note on the picture below- (5 1/2 tucked) that means cut your cardstock 4-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ instead of 6″ if you just want to tuck your flap inside the box.
  6. Assemble the card as shown in the picture.  Email me with questions at Beth@StampingMom.com

Crafting Forever-Gifts for OnStage

I found these Post-it holders a few years ago, and knew that someday this would be a perfect crafting gift. Recently I needed five OnStage gifts for my team members, and would you believe I had bought five of these?! I regret not buying a few more because Jean and I would’ve liked to have one too. Jean wasn’t going, but she helped me make the gifts. With silver emboss powder we heat embossed the scissors and the saying, “Do something creative every day.” I think this is an awesome saying, because along with prayer and exercise, doing something creative every day really is good for your health and well being. 🙂

We used my favorite 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper with dots. The scissors were colored with the Stampin’ Blends in matching colors. The frame was tight, so we added the Glitter Enamel Dots to the outside. I think everyone liked their gifts. 🙂

Tonight Steve and I attended a Prayer Breakfast Reception at Terrace Hill for those participating in the Iowa Prayer Breakfast tomorrow. Terrace Hill is the Governor’s Mansion.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever been inside before. It is stunningly beautiful. They served water infused with fruit, my favorite kind, and food. I’m not sure what kind of food because Steve and I were so busy talking to people we ran out of time to eat. It’s funny because I would not choose to go to things like this, but once I get there, I always find interesting people to talk with.

The retiring list has been a bit confusing.

It looks like every single stamp set from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog is being retired and that isn’t the case, the carryover sets are being transitioned to Cling Mount.

The stamp sets offered in clear-mount or wood-mount in the 2018–2019 annual catalog that are carrying over into the 2019–2020 annual catalog will be offered in clear-mount and/or wood-mount until existing inventory has been depleted or until June 4, 2019 (whichever comes first).

If the inventory is depleted, you will be notified of the automatic switch to cling when placing an order for that stamp set. This means that you may end up purchasing select cling stamp sets (in carryover artwork) before they can be ordered from the catalog!  All carryover rubber stamp sets will be available in cling medium only (with the exception of background stamps in North America) beginning June 4, 2019.

Here is the list of stamp sets that WILL be in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  The stamp sets on this list will not be retiring, they will simply be transitioned to Cling Mount moving forward:

  • Accented Blooms
  • Animal Outing
  • Artisan Textures
  • Barn Door
  • Beautiful Day
  • Beautiful You
  • Bee Thankful
  • Birthday Backgrounds
  • Bokeh Dots
  • Botanical Bliss
  • Country Road
  • Crafting Forever
  • Dandelion Wishes
  • Dashing Deer
  • First Frost
  • Flourishing Phrases
  • Gallery Grunge
  • Healing Hugs
  • Heartland
  • Hold on to Hope
  • Itty Bitty Greetings
  • Kindness & Compassion
  • Label Me Pretty
  • Lilypad Lake
  • Little Elephant
  • Little Twinkle
  • Love You to Pieces
  • Magical Mermaid

  • Pop of Petals
  • Rooted in Nature
  • Sea of Textures
  • Sorry for Everything
  • Special Celebrations
  • Stitched All Around

Any other stamp sets in the 2018-19 Annual Catalog that are NOT on this list will be retired.  Sorry again for the confusion!  Stampin’ Up! is aware of the confusion and hopefully will be posting an updated list for us.

I love the beautiful Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper (DSP). Did you get any free during our recent Sale-A-Bration event? I hope so!

I love this fun fold. It’s just a regular card with the top half of the front cut away. Did you see the Tufted Embossing on the top half inside?

I’m a designer for Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog and this week’s challenge is Flora and Fauna. I was thinking it was Flora or Fauna, so please use your imagination and notice a bee in the beautiful flowers on my wedding card. 🙂

I hope you’ll make a card, 3-D item or scrapbook page with both flowers and a visible animal and enter our challenge this week. Please head over and enter your project at https://useyourstuff.blogspot.com/ I’d love to help you if you need help entering your project. Email me at Beth@StampingMom.com

Steve and I were in Davenport for his cousin’s funeral on Saturday. Kathy was only 60 and passed away suddenly. It reminds me to hug the ones I love and spend time each day with purpose doing what God is calling me to do!

With all the trips to Davenport in the last six months, Steve hasn’t been able to keep up with his Honey-Do list at home. Today he was determined to make up for it all in one day. Among other things, Steve surprised me and planted these beautiful Violas in our front planters. 🙂

This weekend my Stamping Joy team and I will be at OnStage in Minneapolis. I can’t wait for our fun, crafty weekend. We also get the new Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog that won’t be available to customers until June 1, 2019.

I will be doing a Facebook Live again this Wednesday at noon CST. Here’s what I made the last two weeks during my Facebook Lives. Both tutorials are now on my Stamping Mom You Tube channel if you want directions.
