It’s Time for my 2017 Holiday Catalog Product Shares

Why participate in shares? Shares are an inexpensive way to sample the new Designer Series Papers, Ribbons, and Embellishments at a fraction of what it would cost you to purchase all of them yourself. Customers and Demos alike love having a little bit of everything from the new catalog. When you see that adorable card on Pinterest, you’ll be able to make it because you bought the “I want it all” share! If you purchased everything yourself in the “I want it all” share, it would cost $203.50 plus tax and shipping!

How Shares Work

Simply EMAIL ME (Beth@StampingMom.com) and tell me which share you would like to purchase. I’d like payment on August 25 via PayPal Friends and Family, or you may send a check. The order for your shares will be placed on Sept. 1.
Your papers will be lovingly wrapped and identified to protect them; ribbons will be rolled; and embellishments will be placed into small plastic bags. Your shares will be sent out via the US Postal Service in Priority Envelopes with tracking.
Please note my paper shares are 6″ x 12″ for most designs. A lot of people do 6″ x 6″, so you are getting twice as much paper with my shares.

Designer Series Paper Share — $25 including shipping. If you can pick up at my house, the share is $18.

Card Swap

A few weeks ago my Aunt Sherrie stopped by for a morning full of stamping fun. We got several things crossed off of her “stamping list.” One of the things she wanted to make was a fun card for her granddaughter. We looked at Pinterest and found a card similar to this one. We used the Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. Did you notice the Rhinestones on the pocket? I love the way this card turned out. While she was making a card for Haley, I made this one for the card swap we’ve been doing. I sent my card to Georgia Burhite with a really long letter. The most exciting part of the letter was telling about when Superman asked me to marry him when I was only 15. (At least I think I put that in the letter.) Anyway, I received this beautiful card from Georgia with a lovely note.

Georgia’s card was made with the Petal Garden DSP, Beautiful You stamp set, Calypso Coral and Rich Razzleberry cardstock. Did you see how Georgia paper pieced the dress and hat?! Thanks so much Georgia, I was thrilled to receive your card. Not everyone in our card swap has had time to get their card in the mail. If you haven’t received yours, please be patient. We’ve had a couple people who’ve had more than their fair share of things happening in their life. Things will calm down and they’ll have time to get a card made soon.

This summer is flying by. I was supposed to do RAGBRAI for two days this week with Superman and his brothers. RAGBRAI is the bicycle ride across Iowa. Unfortunately I ended up in the ER last week and the injury kept me home. I did ride my bike again for the first time this morning and it was good to be back in the saddle.

All the Stampin’ Up! demos got to see the new Holiday catalog today. It’s pretty awesome! I’m working on the details of my Holiday catalog share. I’m trying to achieve the same promotion I received last September, so I need to sell $1,500 in the next two months. By doing the shares, it really helps my sales. Pal’s Blog Hop

Welcome to the July 2017 Pals Blog Hop. Thank you so much for joining us today. This month we’re having a Pattern Party! Hoppers will feature projects using their favorite Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper and coordinating embellishments. After all, color coordination is a Stampin’ Up! Strength.

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the new catalog is so gorgeous, I had trouble picking a favorite. I finally landed on Naturally Eclectic DSP.

Isn’t it pretty?!

Since I am showing you my favorite DSP, I thought I would also show you my all time favorite box. I was surprised to see my directions to make the Snickers Box have been pinned 10,000 times! That is way more than my other pins. 🙂 Here’s the link to the directions. You can put a full size Snickers or Milky Way bar or four mini bars in each box.

I used the Night of Navy and Emerald Envy markers to make the two tone tag.

This 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon comes in Berry Burst, Emerald Envy, Night of Navy and Peekaboo Peach. I recently offered a share of paper, ribbon and embellishments so people could get a little sampling of everything. I was really excited knowing I would be keeping 1/8 of a roll of each of the 50 new ribbons in the annual catalog. Accidentally, I oversold the ribbon and ended up with no ribbon for myself. I was actually bummed, so to console myself I bought the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon in all four colors!
