I’ve never made cards using decorative masks or stencils, but my goodness, is it fun!! You’ll be seeing more stenciled cards from me very soon. The flowers in this card were created using the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks on page 65 of the mini catalog. I used Polished Pink, Melon Mambo and Granny Apple green ink. The leaves are from the Artistically Inked stamp set, the dotted stems are from the Art in Bloom stamp set, and the sentiment and sentiment layer are from the Art Gallery Bundle. The Art Gallery Bundle is 20% off during the month of March along with several other bundles and the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. The Art Gallery Bundle is my go to whenever I want a die cut sentiment.
It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! It’s fun being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0104 is World Planting Day which is March 20th. Its awesome that there’s a World Planting Day! I love my little gardens full of vegetables, fruit and flowers. In fact, it’s almost Spring here in Iowa so it’s time to start planning my gardens. It’s one of the ways I’ve learned to like vegetables I’ve never tried/liked before. The last couple years I’ve learned to like cucumbers, beets and brussel sprouts. Fresh vegetables taste so much better straight out of the garden. I don’t use chemicals on my gardens either, so I guess I’m an Organic Gardener. Do you have gardens? Do you have any tips for what vegetable I should add to my “learn to like” list this year?
The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. If you want help entering, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’d be happy to help you!
I tried this card with two different colors of sentiment layers. Do you like the Melon Mambo shown at the top of this post or this one with Basic Black? From the Inspo List I used flowers, green, encouragment and stencils. You can see all the products I used at the bottom of this post and click on any of the pictures to order. If you have questions, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com

Beth, I love this whimsical trio of flowers. The pink and green are just perfect together. The white embossed sentiment on the pink is the perfect finishing touch and I love how yu finished off the envelope, too!
hugs
I love your floral trio – stencilling is new to me too Beth and I am totally addicted! In addition to these masks, I suddenly find myself making stencils out of all kinds of things! I am also a keen organic kitchen gardener. We grow lots of things; in addition to your current crops, I would recommend growing spinach and courgette (zuccini) – these both taste so much better home grown and are both good croppers and easy to grow too. Good luck with this year’s gardening adventure!
Beautiful card, Beth! I love those colors.
I love stenciling. You’ve done a great job here. Love the way you shaded the background and those dotted stems are wonderful.
I love this Beth The Stencils are perfect for this challenge and your Bright colors are amazing
I just started playing with the stencil/masks and loved it. Your card is so bright and cheerful! The dotted stems are fabulous.
Great card Beth, the effect of the stenciling is beautiful and I love the dotted stems!
