World Photography Day 2023 will be held on August 19th. World Photography Day became so popular that in 2022, World Photography Week was introduced. On each day of World Photography Week, share a photo on the social medium of your choice that you’ve taken that has meaning to you, along with the story behind it, using the hashtag: #WorldPhotographyWeek.

Then, search for posts using the tag #WorldPhotographyWeek from August 12th to 26th on the social medium of your choice, and “Like”, comment and share the photos that resonate with you the most. If you discover a photographer whose work you appreciate, be sure to give them a follow on social media, as well!

I used the Stampin’ Up camera dies to make this card… wait, did you know we have camera dies? Oh, I guess the technical name is Stitched Radiating Dies. I’m such a fan of dies and I just see unique ways to use them. It’s one of things about stamping that makes my heart sing!

Measurements & Details

5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Basic Black Cardstock (CS) scored at 4-1/4″

Cut 1-1/2″ in on the score line on each side and cut away the two sides of the card front-you’ll be left with 2-1/2″ X 4-1/4″

Adhere 2-1/4″ x 4″ Brights DSP

Adhere (2) strips of 1/2″ Coastal Cabana CS to a scrap of Basic Black CS. Run through Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (SCEM) with the middle Stitched Radiating dies. This is how the camera is made.

The camera lense is made with the two Basic Black circles from the Stitched Radiating die and a 1″ Basic White circle in the middle. The large Rhinestone is retired, but you can use what you have.

Add 3/4″ x 1/2″ Basic White for “flash” and 1/2″ x 1/2″ for Basic Black for “camera button.” Add a strip of Basic Black on the back to get the button up above the camera.

Inside- 4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White

Use sentiment of your choice. I used the birthday sentiment from Zany Zoo.

Brights DSP for coordinating envelope.

Beth, what a wonderful and inspiring way to use those dies. I love the bold graphic stripes and the little rhinestone is the perfect finishing touch.

What a creative use of those dies, and of course a clever fold too! Fabulous card 🙂
