It’s time for another challenge at Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog. This weeks challenge is to create a project with tissue paper. Well I own tissue paper, but have never used it before. The flowers and leaves are all made with Stampin’ Up! Cherry On Top Cotton Paper Assortment (tissue paper) I can’t believe how fun and easy it is to make these flowers. I used the Pansy Punch and cut 4 Watermelon Wonder flowers. For the yellow (Crushed Curry) flowers, I used the Petite Petals Punch. Use a mini brad to keep them all together in the center and crunch them. Yep, that’s all there is to it. I will be making more tissue paper flowers in the future.
For the layout, I used #PPA294.
I almost always make a card with someone in mind to receive it. This time I didn’t, so if you want it, please leave me a comment at the top of this post. I’ll draw a name and send it to you. You may need to unscrunch the flowers after it travels through the mail.
Do you all have your flowers and gardens planned for this year? I can’t wait! I love growing flowers and also have seven small vegetable beds. One is Abby’s and she usually grows pumpkins. I have one tiered bed for strawberries. One large bed of raspberries. I usually go out early every morning and pick these. I like them so much, I’m not sure my family knows we have a raspberry bed, because raspberries rarely make it into the house. 🙂 The rest of the beds are for vegetables and herbs. One of my goals this year is to learn how to preserve the herbs in the fall so we can enjoy them all winter. I also want to start some tomatoes and other vegetables from seed in the house and I have never done that before. If you have any herb or vegetable tips, please let me know. I would love to hear them.
Blessings,
Beth 🙂

Very cute. Actually not to difficult to learn how to do with tissue.

Thanks Patti! I really appreciate receiving comments!
I like the entire card, but especially the lovely colors and textures.
Yeah! I’d love to see a picture after you get them made!
Cute card. I think I will have to try those tissue flowers myself.
I love your sketch Dawn!
How sweet is this card with its pretty scrunched flower. Love the colors you’ve used too. Thanks for joining us at the Pals Paper Arts this week and for using my sketch!
Thanks Lynn and Ruth! It’s funny because I was nervous about trying the tissue paper flowers and now I can’t wait to make more!
Beth, this card has the WOW factor! The flowers look fantastic and the colours are so striking. Love it!
Adorable card, Beth.
