I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demo since 2003. I used to do classes in my home, but a few years ago I stopped doing them. Thankfully, some of my friends have encouraged me to start up again. My first class was two weeks ago and I did a Tin of Cards class. Well, I have some very creative friends and customers and we came up with some alternative ideas. I’m just now finishing off all the cards from my kit. Because I’m trying to send everyone a birthday card this year, inspired by Shannon West’s mission, “#imbringingbirthdaysback,” I’m making mostly birthday cards. See Shannon’s story here
I’d love to send you a card in the mail! Please email me your name, address and birthday and I’ll send you a homemade card around the time of your birthday. bethmcc6@gmail.com
This week I’m having a Paper Pumpkin class. Here’s some of the cards we’re making.
Paper Pumpkin is a wonderful craft experience in a box for only $20 per month. If you sign up by April 10 you get an exclusive stamp set in addition to one of the regular stamp sets contained in each Paper Pumpkin. See a Paper Pumpkin video here. If you purchase your Paper Pumpkin through me, the monthly class is free. For those in the Des Moines area, my next class is Thursday, April 7! Please let me know if you’d like to come.
I’ll post more Tin of Cards Alternative ideas over the next couple days.
My youngest pup, Molly has been sick for a couple days. Think graphic and messy. Well $150 later, I’m so relieved she doesn’t have cancer. She did get a shot and pills and I think she’s starting to feel better already. Maya and Molly have a therapy dog visit to make on Friday, so I hope she will be able to go. The Assisted Living and Memory Care facilities we visit love Maya and Molly and I hate to disappoint them.
Blessings,
Beth:)
Anne, Maggie and Minnie are adorable names! What kind of dogs are they? Molly is feeling better. She has to take pills now twice a day for about a week and I give them to her hidden in chicken. Molly gobbles them right down. Maya is happy about it too, because I can’t give Molly chicken without giving Maya chicken too.
Thanks Sean! I told everyone you read my blog! Hope you didn’t tell Dad about the card I made for him the other day. I told Maya and Molly you won’t be coming home until Thanksgiving and they are outraged. They are threatening to not remember you. Love you, Mom 🙂
Cute pictures of the dogs!
Thanks for starting the class again and I’M very happy Molly is feeling better. I also have 2 dogs, my M & M’s. Maggie and Minnie.
I love the fellowship too and speed doesn’t matter! Typically we won’t make as many cards as we did the first day.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for starting classes again. I love doing it, and need to get faster at it. The fellowship is the best medicine.
Glad to hear you are doing classes again! !!!
