Sunrise Sailing Easel Card
I used the new two tone cardstock, Sunrise Sailing Hybrid embossing folder on the Pool Party background and So Swirly embossing folder on the Petunia Pop sail of the sailboat and the sanding technique to create the beautiful image on the front of this card. The sanding reveals the white core in the two tone card stock.
Easel cards look great sitting up on the recipient’s table or desk.
The card folds flat for mailing.

National Beach Day is a day to celebrate and enjoy beaches, while also promoting their preservation and raising awareness about ocean pollution. Steve and I love the beach and we go annually to Cayman Brac, a small island near Grand Cayman, but ironically they don’t have many beaches because of the ironshore. Ironshore on Cayman Brac refers to the rugged, rocky coastline formed by the weathering of Plistocene limestone. This type of terrain is characterized by sharp, jagged edges and features like ridges, canyons, and tunnels, making it a unique and dramatic landscape. While not ideal for swimming due to its rocky nature, it offers beautiful views. We choose to go to Cayman Brac because Steve loves the scuba diving there. We also love the weather (sunny and 80 everyday) and the lovely people who live there. Did I mention it’s cold, icy and snowy at home during this time. 🙂
