I am participating in Bruno and Kylie’s World Wide Training Group and am excited to be part of their monthly Blog Hop. The Blog Hop focuses on the Thank You cards that we are sending to our customers.

I wanted to play with the new Darling Details stamp set because it’s darling!! I tried to challenge myself to make a one layer card so it would be easy to mass produce. I came close, but it’s not quite a one layer. The new Exposed Brick embossing folder is a must have! It makes everything look amazing. The White 3/8 Glittered Ribbon from the last Annual Catalog did not retire, it’s now an Online Exclusive.

Measurements & Details

Notecards & Envelopes #159232
3-3/8” x 4-7/8” Basic White CS
Sweet Sorbet, Flirty Flamingo, Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Parakeet Party ink pads
I used Stampin’ Up Masking Paper 155480
After stamping, run through Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (SCEM) with Exposed Brick embossing folder
Adhere stamped layer to notecard
Stamp “thank you” in Parakeet Party and cut with a 1” circle- Reach for the Stars has great circle dies!
Sponge Parakeet Party on card and on thank you circle
Add White 3/8” Glittered Organdy ribbon-tape to card
Pop up thank you with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
Add 6” x 6” color family DSP to envelope flap
Gift a set together in a 6” x 8” Cellophane bag #102210

Zoo Crew Birthday

I just finished up all my Annual catalog shares and took them to the post office this morning. When you get product shares from me, if the paper is 12″ x 12″ you get a 6″ x 12″. For the Zoo Crew DSP, some of the animals will be cut, so you don’t get the entire animal. Being a problem solver, I wanted to show you how you can “save the animals” and still use them to make cute cards! Except for the knitting llama, all these animals suffered some cutting damage, but as you can see they are thrilled to be part of this fun card instead of being thrown away.

Even the inside of the card saved the top half of an alligator. Please use your animal parts to make cute cards too!

It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! I’m part of the Design Team for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0134 is National Smile Day which is May 31st. I’ll really be smiling on National Smile Day because it’s also my 37th wedding anniversary.

We’ve been married 37 years and best friends for 47 years. It seems like a blink of an eye. Going back in time I would tell my 12 year old self- “Good job choosing a best friend.” I would tell my 22 year old self, “It really matters who you marry and you chose very well.” Don’t get me wrong, we’ve had lots of disappointments, sorrow and struggles over the years, everyone does, but I absolutely adore my husband and feel so blessed to be married to him! If you’ve ever joined us for our live videos every Tuesday at 7pm CT you can probably tell we like each other and that he’s a wonderful man. Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

I did the tic tac toe in two directions, straight down the middle and across the bottom. I considered doing the whole board, but couldn’t figure out how to make a mother’s day and father’s day card in one. 🙂 I used my favorite returning embossing folder- Painted Posies and paired it with new colors and new ribbon.

Measurements and Directions

Card Base 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”- Bubble Bath or Lemon Lolly
Inside card- 4” x 5-1/4” Basic White CS
Stamp inside the card with Two-Tone Flora or whatever flowers you already own
Front of card- 3-3/4” x 5” CS Parakeet Party or Smoky Slate
3-1/2” x 4” Basic White CS -Painted Posies embossing folder
Blends- Bubble Bath or Lemon Lolly
Ribbon- 3/8” Sheer ribbon combo pack includes Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, Azure Afternoon
Sprinkle with Rhinestones
Pop up with Adhesive Sheet or Stampin’ Dimensionals-make sure ribbon is added first
Sentiment- Go to Greetings, cut out with Stylish Shapes banner- pop up on Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
