Easter Bunny Easel Card
It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! I’m on the Design Team for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0130 is International Children’s Book Day which is April 2nd.
International Children’s Book Day! What a great day to celebrate! I was a book worm growing up and I raised three book worms. I love reading and I love reading to kids. One of my favorite series for ages 9 and up is the Guardians of Gahoole series by Kathryn Lasky. These are fantasy books about a group of owls that will keep kids and adults coming back for more. Steve and I read to our kids every night before bed and it was hard for me to read only one chapter at a time of these books. They are not as scary as Harry Potter.
The Magic Tree House books were easy chapter books for the younger set. We really enjoyed these books too.
My list of favorite books for children is very long so I won’t share them all.
We donated a lot of our kid books, but I kept a couple hundred books to read to my future grandchildren. 🙂

- 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” Polished Pink CS scored at 4-1/4”
- Cut 1-1/4” of each side of front flap
- Cut (2) 1” x 4” Tahitian Tide- adhere to each side
- Cut (2) 7/8” x 3-7/8” Parakeet Party DSP and adhere to each side
- 2nd Largest Stylish Shape Square- Basic White
- Stylish Shape Banner- “Happy Easter”
- Score front flap at 2-1/8”
- Cut 2-3/4” x 4” Tahitian Tide
- Cut 2-5/8” x 3-7/8” Parakeet Party
