Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop in 2022! This month, the theme is Sale-A-Bration. We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
One of my favorite Sale-A-Bration free gifts is the Catching Butterflies stamp set on page 6 of the Sale-A-Bration brochure. I cased the sample in the catalog and made room for two friends catching butterflies together.
God made us unique with many different colors of skin and hair. Starting in February, customers will be able to buy new Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends that make it possible to color skin and hair in many different colors and shades. My little girls show the lightest and darkest shades available and of course there is everything in between. Can you see the highlights in their hair?
I used the Stitched Rectangles to cut out the little girls. The frame around them and the butterfly nets are both popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. It’s hard to see in the picture, but the butterfly nets, butterflies and the skirt of the girls dresses all have Wink of Stella making them shimmer beautifully.
I hope you’ll consider adding Catching Butterflies to your next order of $50 or more and earn this set free during Sale-A-Bration.
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on February 9th. Our theme will be Birthday Bash when our team creates birthday projects to celebrate our family and friends.
January 4 – February 28! Earn FREE Sale-A-Bration gifts at the $50 and $100 levels (total before shipping and tax). No limit to how many gifts you can earn based on increments of $50 or $100.
I am participating in Bruno and Kylie’s World Wide Training Group and am excited to be part of their monthly Blog Hop. The Blog Hop focuses on the Thank You cards that we are sending to our customers.
I made this card as a “warm up” card when I first started working with the Artfully Composed Suite. Our Creativity Abounds Design Team is having an online Stamp Camp using this suite. See more details about this Stamp Camp at the bottom of this post.
When I get a new suite of products, I generally stamp all the images, cut out all the dies and start figuring out fun and creative ways to use the products. I also make some “warm up” cards, so there’s no pressure in how they turn out. If you ever experience “card making paralysis,” maybe you should try making some warm up cards too! Tell yourself you’re making “warm up” cards and it doesn’t matter how they look, you’re just becoming familiar with the products. Sometimes my “warm up” cards are gutter balls and sometimes I end up really liking them. This one I really liked!
This simple card is easy to mass produce, and great for sending as a customer thank you. It shows off the beautiful products from this suite. I also like that you can make a card with this suite for anyone and any occasion including masculine cards, which aren’t always easy to make. I hope you’ll give the Artfully Composed Suite a second look if you passed it by when your first saw the catalog. I can’t wait to show you my fun fold card next week, that I’ll be making live during the Stamp Camp. I think you’ll really want to make it too! All the products I used to make this card are at the bottom of this post.
Here’s another card I made with this suite. Please spend some time hopping from one Blog to another to see all the beautiful projects.
Tuesday April 19th is deadline to sign up for our next Stamp Camp that will be on April 29 and 30th. When you sign up, you’ll receive a card kit to make 12 projects with written and video directions. You’ll also get a weekend of fun and 12 more live videos with 12 different projects for a total of 24 projects all using the Symbols of Fortune Suite. There will be fun folds, boxes, techniques and more. Everything is recorded so if you can’t make it that weekend, you can watch the videos on a different day. Demos and customers alike love our quarterly Creativity Abounds Stamp Camps. Here’s what some of the participants had to say:
Linda D said, “I thoroughly enjoyed my first Creativity Abounds Stamp Camp! I loved the global perspective of demonstrators around the world, the projects in both the make and takes and those demonstrated in the lives. The schedule of having a live video every 2 hours and the tips every demonstrator shared while stamping. Although the Symbols of Fortune Suite was not on my radar, I will be ordering because the event was so awesome and I am sure the projects will be amazing!
Linda L said, “I love that I can catch the live videos, but also can go back even months later and watch any of them, especially the ones I missed. There is no pressure to be at the computer on time or it’s gone. I really enjoy making all the projects and all the tips from demos from all over the world. It’s fun to grab a friend and do the stamp camp together. If you already own the suite collection, you can order a similar amount and still get the card kit and stamp camp free.”
Here’s how to sign up for the Stamp Camp-If you purchase the Symbols of Fortune Suite Collection from me for $82.75 (on pages 22-24 of the Spring Mini Catalog), you’ll get everything for the Stamp Camp for FREE! You’ll need the entire Suite Collection to make all the projects. If you’ve already purchased that collection or would rather have a different bundle, you can spend $82.75 in my online store on anything you want, and still get the Stamp Camp free of charge. You will need to get the ribbon, Polished Dots, Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper and Symbols of Fortune DSP to make the projects.

What’s more fun than making a personalized birthday card with your daughter-in-law to be? Amy and I got three cards made last weekend and this one was my favorite! Steve and I enjoyed our time with Sean and Amy very much.
Amy got to experience six inches of snow on Saturday and she was thrilled. They don’t get a lot of snow in Texas.
We used the Playful Alphabet dies to personalize the card. The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is the free Host paper from the Annual catalog. The stitched stars are made with the Give it A Whirl dies. The cute penguin and balloon are from the Penguin Place bundle. Stitched So Sweetly dies were used to make the Basic White piece behind the penguin.
Amy loves penguins and Sean is taking her to Sea World for her birthday next month to do the behind the scenes Penguin Encounter. I can’t wait to hear all about it.
It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! This week’s challenge #FF0100 is celebrating our 100th Challenge! Festive Friday was started by Nicole Watt, Ann Schach and I in 2018. It’s so exciting to get to #100!
The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. If you want help entering, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’d be happy to help you! From the Inspo List I used numbers, patterned papers and punches. Your entry doesn’t have to have anything to do with our 100th Challenge. It would be awesome if our 100th challenge becomes your first challenge! Please join our celebration even if you’ve never participated in a challenge before.
