Sweet Little Monkeys
Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is CASE the Catalog. CASE means copy and share everything. You can look at a card and change different elements to make it your own. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The Stampin’ Up! catalog is an Idea Book and it was fun trying to decide which card to CASE. I chose the elephant card at the top of page 57 shown below. I changed the colors to Copper Clay, Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green. Instead of circles, I used the Nested Essentials rounded rectangles. I also used the Little Monkey set instead of Little Dreamers.
Instead of throwing away the Nested Essentials shapes, I used them to make the card below.
Measurements & Details
- 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Copper Clay CS scored at 4-1/4″
- 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Stargazing Designer Series Paper (DSP)

See all the products I used and order from my online store at the bottom of this post. I also usually have some pictures and a story at the bottom of my post.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are very excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month (always the second Wednesday each month), when our theme will be “Punch Your Art Out”.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.

My Dad and his siblings had a family reunion last weekend. My Dad is on the far right, his brother, Richard, is eight years younger and his sister, Irene, is twelve years younger. All their kids and grandkids were invited. We had a wonderful lunch and played games. Some of the kids did Paddle Boats on the lake.
From my family it was Steve and I, Ryan and Bree. It’s kind of funny we had our picture taken in front of a Buffalo since Steve grew up in a little town called Buffalo along the Mississippi River.
After the reunion my sister and her family joined us for dinner and a fire pit. We stayed out there talking and laughing for several hours. I’m sorry to my neighbors if we kept you up. The next morning Steve made everyone bacon and eggs. What a fun weekend! 🙂
