I used the flower from the Dandy Wishes dies to make a 70’s Flower Power Retro card. I wanted to show how versatile these dies are. You can use them for many things.

Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team created “Birthday Bonanza” projects to inspire you to make for all of your family and friends. We hope you enjoy and are inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments because we all love hearing from you! At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Do you know the Baby Shark song? It’s a real hit with the under 5 crowd. Our great nephew, Owen, is 2-1/2 and it’s super fun to watch him sing it. If you have no idea what I’m talking about here’s the song. Is it stuck in your head now? You’re welcome! 🙂
You can use the Shark Frenzy Bundle to make darling birthday cards for kids for all ages.
I’ve made the interlocking Stitched Frames before on these Daisy Frame card shown below. You can find directions to make the interlocking frames here. On the shark cards I used the second and third largest Stitched Shapes squares.
The other two cards are fun fold cards that have the front top half of the card cut away. I love the look of the waves on this card.
It’s fun to pick a few colors, cut out all the dies in a set in each color and then go about creating. If you get the Shark Frenzy Bundle, I would love to see what you make.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on March 10th when our theme will be “Cute Critters” where the design team will be sharing projects that will feature critters of all sorts to inspire you. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft room.
It’s the best time of the year to join Stampin’ Up and purchase your supplies at a discount. I would love to have you as part of our Joy Team. Please email me with any questions you may have.
Blessings,
Beth 🙂

The 3″ x 3″ squares on this Sampler were made by friends on my Stamping Mom’s Joy Team and I. You can find out more about my team at the bottom of this post.
I made the double square in the upper left hand corner. It includes a skier because I can’t wait to ski with my family in Park City, Utah in a few weeks. I taught my husband and all my kids how to ski, but now they are all better than me. I taught my oldest son, Sean, how to ski when he was three. He refused to go to the Daycare Ski school so I spent the entire week in Colorado skiing with him hanging on to my legs with his skis in between mine. Luckily I never fell on him. 🙂 Today, skiing is one of Sean’s favorite things to do. He’s actually in Seattle today on a work trip and skiing vacation.
We had so many people participate this time, we had enough for two complete samplers. We usually do nine 3″ x 3″ squares for each sampler, this time we added a double square at 3″ x 6-3/4″. There is “joy” on both samplers because we are called the “Joy Team.”

Here’s what some of my team have to say about being part of our Joy Team:
Marcelyn said, ” I enjoy all the zooms, getting new ideas, and the great friendships. Doing the swaps and samplers. Learning new fun folds.”
Angie said,” I have enjoyed getting to know new people who have the same love for card making. It has been sad that we couldn’t get together in person but we have been doing zoom calls every week. It’s fun learning how to make new cards. It’s a great group and Beth is a great leader!”
Sheryl said, “Beth creates the kind of cards that I love to receive and makes me want to create them for others. She inspires everyone in our group to design unique 3×3 squares that turn into beautiful samplers for us all to share and enjoy. Thank you Beth!”
Sharon says, “Belonging to Beth’s group is so nice. I enjoy Zoom classes that keep us connected to our Joy team, keeps us informed, gives us a chance to ask questions and learn new ways to make cards. It’s so nice to have the opportunity to virtually meet other people who enjoy making cards. Beth encourages us to try new things and is very willing to answer questions and help us out. Beth’s Facebook presence keeps us informed and entertained through her Facebook Live sessions.”
