This clean and simple card is fun to make and bound to bring a smile to the recipient. Each member of the Creativity Abounds team made two Love themed cards. One is shown on their blog today and the other is part of the Creativity Abounds January 2021 Love Theme Tutorial Bundle. I used the Lots of Heart Bundle for both of my cards.

The die cuts in this bundle are simply amazing!

Here you can see how pretty the Scripty embossing folder is and also that I have the two Magenta Madness layers popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals and the black layer is adhered flat to the card base. The black heart is also popped up. The sentiment is heat embossed with black embossing powder.

Fine Art Floral Birthday

Have you seen the new Fine Art Floral Suite in the Jan-June Mini Catalog? It’s super pretty! I took this picture at a funny angle because I wanted you to be able to see how stunning the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper (DSP) is with a covering of Golden Garden Acetate. The DSP and Acetate is cut at 3″ x 4″ so you can get 12 cards from each sheet! I layered it on Flirty Flamingo and wrapped the 3/8″ Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon around it. The whole piece is popped up on a Foam Adhesive Sheet and adhered to Thick Basic White card stock. I used Gold Embossing powder and the flower from To a Wild Rose on the envelope. It’s a simple yet elegant card that you can send for birthday, thank you, thinking of you or almost any occasion.

I’ll have another easy fun fold made with the Fine Art Floral Suite on Friday.

I love hearing from you. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you’ve been up to. Steve and I are empty nesters who both work at home now. I have been getting out two mornings a week for Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Leadership and Discussion Group. Steve and I do our Facebook Lives on Wednesday at noon Central time. We’d love to have you join us. Go to Stamping Mom on Facebook and you’ll find us there. We go on a walk with our pups every day when the temperature is above freezing. We are planning to go to Park City, Utah to go skiing with our two older sons later this Winter. If you’ve been there, I’d love to hear about where to eat and what to do (besides skiing.)

I taught everyone in my family how to ski, but they are all better than me now. Steve has a bum knee, so that may slow him down enough to ski with me on the blue runs. This will be our first trip since COVID began. If you have any travel advice, please let me know.

Steve’s surgery will be next Tuesday. We expect a very good outcome, but would appreciate your prayers for a successful surgery and quick recovery. He is anxious to be done with it. We were surprised to find out that his heart will actually hurt afterwards. Neither one of us have ever heard of a heart actually hurting.

Steve’s office dresses up for Halloween. I think some of his friends at work were amused when Cowboy Steve walked in this morning. Jeri- he did wear the Hudnut red bandana too. 🙂

If any of you will be in Lansing for OnStage in a couple weeks, come see Jean and I. We are preparing a 3-D project that involves Steve’s fudge. Let me know if you’ll be there and I’ll save one for you. 🙂
