The Happiest Day stamp set is perfect for making cards with sunshine, dragonflies and rainbows!

The inside of this card is the best part! It’s so much fun creating little scenes to fill the squares. This card may be a little thick for mailing, but it’s worth the surprise when you open it up.

My Texas kids are here for 10 days and we have been having the best time going to the Iowa State Fair, playing Euchre and other games, mini golfing, eating, laughing, and more. We had a great time having a fire pit until many of us woke up the next day covered in no-see-um bites. I may never go outside after dusk again. If you’ve never had these you may not realize how painful they can be.

The Stampin’ Up Catalog is a wonderful “Idea Book.” If you’re stumped for what to make, just look through the catalog for some inspiration. I found this picture back in the “Bundles” section on page 161 of the 2022-23 Annual Catalog. The card is cute, but I wanted to make it over again in #bright&happy colors. Every card I make brings me joy, but creating bright & happy cards makes my heart sing!

Here’s what I used to make this card

Thick Basic White card base 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Polished Pink 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
1/2″ x 4-1/4″ Cardstock (CS) Strips- Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Starry Sky
Best Butterflies Bundle- butterflies die cut from Mango Melody CS
Fun Flowers Resin Shapes
Envelope flap covered in 1/2″ CS strips

National Best Friends Day

I used the Hues of Happiness Suite to make this quick and easy fun fold card. The Hues of Happiness DSP, Fresh Freesia layer and white sentiment layer inside the card were all cut with the Scalloped Contours dies. The yellow flower and leaf were cut from the DSP using the coordinating dies. See all the supplies I used at the bottom of this post.

It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! It’s fun being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0128 is World Music Therapy Day which is March 2nd.

Measurements

Cut 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Balmy Blue CS scored at 4-1/4″. Cut 3-3/4″ off the upper right hand corner in both directions. See picture below.
Cut and adhere 4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White CS inside the card.
Cut 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ DSP and then cut diagonally. Adhere the upper right triangle inside the card leaving a border. Adhere the lower left triangle on the front of the card.
Cut 3/4″ x 4-1/4″ Sahara Sand CS and adhere near the bottom on the front of the card. Cut and layer a 1/2″ x 4-1/4″ DSP on top of the Sahara Sand CS.
Run a scrap of Sahara Sand CS through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (SCEM) with the 4th largest Stitched Rectangle die. Adhere to card front being careful not to put glue in the upper right hand corner so you don’t glue your card shut. 🙂
Run DSP shown in picture through the SCEM with the 5th largest Stitched Rectangle die. Pop up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Decorate card as shown in the picture.
