Tic Tac Gum Box

Welcome to the Pals’ May  Blog Hop. We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects with “More Than One Score.” You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

  2. Score the long side of the Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock at 1″, 1-3/4″, 3-1/2″ and 4-1/4″. Burnish all the score lines.
  3. Cut away the top two squares on the right and left. See picture below where it says “Remove”.

  1. Corner Round the top two corners with the Detailed Trio Punch.
  2. Put adhesive on tabs E and F. Put adhesive on back side of tabs C and D.
  3. Attach adhesive side of Tab C to front side of Tab A.
Attach adhesive side of Tab D to front side of Tab B.

  5. Attach glue dot or velcro dot to flap and fold down. If you would like to tuck the flap instead, cut off 1/2″ of the top and corner round the top edges again. For this box I did cut the 1/2″ off after doing all the cutting and scoring.
  6. Cut the layering circles including the smallest White Stitched Circle for the Bird.
  7. Stamp the Bird from the Hey Love stamp set with Memento ink and color with Stampin’ Blends.
  8. Wrap the belly band around the box and secure with adhesive.
  9. Assemble the card as shown in the picture.  Email me with questions at Beth@StampingMom.com

The bird image is from the Hey Love stamp set retiring on June 3, 2019. The Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock is retiring and only available as of now, in the In Color 12″ x 12″ Cardstock. The Dot to Dot Textured Embossing Folder has a very fun look and you need to get it before it retires at the end of the month.

He is Risen!

I’m a designer for Use Your Stuff and this week’s challenge is to use Yarn, String or Twine on your project. I hope you come play along with us and share your creations! Twine was the perfect thing to attach the “hello” tag to my Snickers Box. Want to learn how to make a box for gifting full size Snickers or Milky Way candy bars? I have picture directions here on my blog from back in 2015 here or head over to my YouTube Channel

Marcelyn Churchill is my friend, Stamping Joy team member, fellow BSFer (Bible Study Fellowship) and prolific crafter.  She doesn’t have a blog, so I share some of her creations on most Mondays.

Marcelyn dropped off this gorgeous Easter card for my family and I. It’s so pretty in real life. I love that it has the cross and HOPE behind it. Here’s a quote from Billy Graham about hope and the cross,

“Easter always brings hope to all of us. For the Christian, the Cross tells us that God understands our suffering, for He took upon Himself at the Cross all of our sins and all of our failures and all of our sufferings. Our Lord, on that cross, asked the question, “Why?” “My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?”  And he received his answer, he knew.  To redeem the world, to save you and me from our sins, to give us assurance that if we died we’re going to heaven. He was saying from the cross, I love you and I know the heartaches and the sorrows and the pain that you feel.

Easter points us beyond the tragedy of the Cross to the hope of the empty tomb. It tells us that there is hope for eternal life for Christ has conquered death. It also tells us that God has triumphed over evil and death and hell. This is our hope and it can be your hope as well.”

I love these adorable gingham Easter baskets.

These gingham Thinking of You are so pretty too! If you’re wondering how to make any of Marcelyn’s lovely projects, please email her directly at marcelynchurchill@msn.com

Did you hear I’m doing a Facebook Live every Wednesday at noon Central time? Hope you can join me. I’d love it if you would “talk to me” by commenting during the Live, so I can interact with you.  If you can’t make it at noon, I’ll post the video to my Stamping Mom Facebook page and my YouTube channel later. I’ve added more videos to my YouTube channel. See them here

Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings,

Beth

Valentine Triangle Box

Welcome to the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for January 2018. This month our theme is Valentines!  You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Beth McCullough @ Stamping Mom or may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

Stampin Up Valentine Triangle Box designed by demo Beth McCullough. Please see more card and gift ideas at www.StampingMom.com #StampingMom #cute&simple4u

You need a 6″ x 8-1/2″ piece of cardstock to make this box.  Recently I made a dozen of these for an event and then realized I had lots of 5″ x 8-1/2″ cardstock leftover.  What should I do with that?  Well, you can cut that in half, making two 5″ x 4-1/4″.  You get two of these and can make a Lots to Love Box a little smaller than the intended size.

As you can see the paper isn’t as long as the die and barely fits width wise.  (You can also see I get a ton of use from my Big Shot from the well used plate.)

You can get both of these cut from the 5″ x 8-1/2″ leftover piece and make the box below.

The Tutti Frutti DSP  is 2-3/4″ x 3-1/4″. The circle punches are 1-3/4″ and 2″.  The heart is from the Sweet & Sassy Framelits dies.  The heart is popped up on dimensional. What’s going inside my box?  I asked Steve what he would want to receive, and he thought Dove Dark Chocolate hearts would be a great thing to put in this box!

I had a lot of questions about directions for the Triangle Box, after I posted it last week.  Well, here’s some basic instructions.

I left the back of the box open to put the Lindt Lindor Truffle in the box.  I used a little bit of SNAIL adhesive to attach the back flaps.  I want the recipient to be able to get the candy out and not ruin the box.  The Basic Black 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon is tied on the top of the red box and gold Love Mini Tinsel Trim on the Melon Mambo box.

The DSP on the front of the Triangle box is 1-1/2″ x 2″.  I used the 1″ and 1-1/4″ circle punches.  The heart is cut from the Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies.

Please let me know if you have any questions.  My email is Beth@StampingMom.com

Blessings,

Beth 🙂
