I love my customers and like to send a unique thank you card each month. This month I made this flap card using the Basic Borders dies to crop the flap. I have a video of a FB Live showing how to make this card.

I used a new embossing folder, Timeworn Type 3D, on this card and it’s going to be a favorite of mine. I love the texture along with the typed letters/words. This is available to customers beginning August 3, 2021. Do you have the 2021-23 In Color Shimmer Vellum? I used that on the flowers and stems. It’s super pretty and shimmery in real life. The flowers and stems are cut from the Dandy Wishes dies.
When I make a thank you card I want it to be bright and cheery to hopefully put a smile on the recipient’s face. OK, to be totally honest, I think there’s enough sad things in the world and making bright and happy cards for any occasion cheers me up! 🙂 Bright and happy has spread to other parts of my life too, such as decorating my patio.

Oh my goodness! It was so much fun to make this beautiful fish with the Stampin’ Up Seascape Bundle and pop it up on this gorgeous Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper (DSP). I’ve been making cards since 2003 and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it. This card is called a Dutch Barn Door fun fold. Here’s a video of a similar card I made last year with the same measurements.
It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! This week’s challenge #FF0089 is National Lighthouse Day which is August 7th.

Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us.
