I was thrilled to find out that I was in the Top 10 of Kylie’s International Highlights last week! Thanks so much to everyone who voted for me!!
This is the card that was voted into the Top 10. I made this with the Stampin’ Up’s Christmastime is Here Suite. It’s still available! There are links to the products at the bottom of this post.
Here’s my Magnolia Fun Fold card. For the hop we needed to make an encouragement card. What’s more encouraging than being loved. I feel blessed to be loved by God, my awesome husband, Steve, my kids, all my family and friends. I made this card for someone special so they can set it on their desk and always be reminded that they are loved!
Here’s a Facebook Live I did with directions showing how to make a different version of this Magnolia Fun Fold card.
Please enjoy checking out the beautiful cards from all the other Top 10 Winners!
Click on the pictures at the bottom of this post to order any of the items directly from my online store.
I love making these “Lever cards.” Here’s a link to my YouTube video showing how to make this lever card. Please subscribe to my channel and give me a thumbs up while you’re over there. I really appreciate it! I made this card recently on my Wednesdays at noon CST Facebook Live, “Crafting Fun with Stamping Mom.” Click on “Videos” to see the past Crafting Fun with Stamping Mom videos. Please join me at noon on Wednesdays or you can catch the replay later when it’s convenient for you.
You can attach any type of shape at the end of your lever. On the top card I used the Square Stitched Framelits and on the bottom card I used the Circle Stitched Framelits.
It’s fun being a designer at Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog. It is after all why we buy all these crafting supplies. To have fun using them to make beautiful creations for ourselves and for blessing others. The challenge this week is birds, bees or butterflies. You can enter your card, scrapbook page or 3-D item that has birds, bees or butterflies on it. Ready, go! I can’t wait to see what you create!
Marcelyn Churchill is my friend, Stamping Joy team member (Stamping Joy is my group of stampers from all over the USA), fellow BSFer (Bible Study Fellowship) and prolific crafter. She doesn’t have a blog, so I share some of her creations on most Mondays. Marcelyn makes lots of fun fold cards, but this is one of my favorite cards she’s ever made. It involved a whole lot of fussy cutting.
Lots of you loved this card I showed last week on Marcelyn Monday and asked for directions. I plan to get them posted this week.
Here’s another Bird Ballad Fun Fold card I made with the directions below.

Here’s my sweet Molly. She lays under the counter while I craft, helps run off the bunnies and snakes while I’m gardening. (I’ve never seen a snake at my current home of 27 years but I’ve always joked that Steve removes them because he’s afraid I would want to move if I saw one.) She and her sweet sister Maya, do pet therapy visits with me and love to go for car rides. Molly still likes walks, but shorter ones than in the past. Molly is ten and Maya is twelve. I totally get why everyone loves their pets so much! I’d love to see a picture of your pets.
This summer is flying by. I spend a lot of time biking with friends and my biking team, gardening, stamping, Bible study, and working on my Stamping Mom business. Next week my sister and I are flying to Utah for the Young Living Essential Oil conference. We also have our annual week at family Bible camp in Okoboji coming in August. I hope you’re having a blessed season whether it’s summer or winter where you are!
Yep, it’s been awhile since we’ve had a Marcelyn Monday. Don’t worry Marcelyn is crafting as much as always. I just haven’t been around to get the photos and post them.

I hosted two Stamping Christmas parties last week. One for our Stampin’ Up demos in Central Iowa group and one for my Stamping Joy Team. The day before the first party I was busy setting the table and decided we needed two more items for the centerpiece display. I saw the card below on my shelf and made a quick call to Marcelyn. “Hi Marcelyn, how are you doing? Good. Any chance you want to make your navy Bethlehem card without the side flaps and add the vellum, city scene and star so you can see it from both sides? She was happy to do it, knew exactly what I wanted and showed up the next day with two of the centerpieces you see above. The “snow” was her idea and a nice touch. 🙂 They are sitting on a mirror so that’s why you see double in the picture. They are gorgeous and Marcelyn was once again my hero!
In the picture below you can see the table set and ready for the Christmas party. The two Sprig punch trees were made by Marcelyn. I gave Marcelyn the paper and asked her to make these two trees way back in September. (In case you might have thought everything is done at the last minute at break neck speed.) 🙂 Marcelyn also made the fudge boxes. (Yes, again a September request) You can pull the fudge out on the ribbon side and a “Merry Christmas” pops out on the other side. The fudge was made by my husband, Steve. Thenks to you Marcelyn, it was a lovely party!
The china is from International China Company “A Christmas Story” by Susan Winget. Steve’s parents gave me these dishes, glasses, serving pieces etc. over 10 or 15 years of Christmas presents. I love using them and hope one of my kids will want them some day. Will people even have a dining room table or eat on china dishes in another twenty years?!
If you have any questions about the centerpieces, fudge boxes or Sprig Punch trees, please contact Marcelyn directly at marcelynchurchill@msn.com
The Central Iowa demos did a gift exchange at our party. Below are projects made by the demos. If you have questions about these, please leave a comment and I’ll put you in touch with the demo who made it.
