There’s something so cozy about pumpkins and warm autumn colors! Today’s card features the Stampin’ Up! Painted Pumpkins Bundle including the stencils, and the Rustic Check Embossing Folder for a fall card with plenty of texture.

The little “Hey” sentiment makes this a card you can send just because. Who would enjoy finding a handmade hello in their mailbox?

Soft shading with stencils

These three pumpkins have different shapes and so much personality! Sponging ink through the stencils creates soft color, while deeper shading gives the pumpkins dimension. The lighter lines help define each pumpkin’s sections.

When sponging, start with a light touch and gradually build the color. You can always add more ink! A little ink around the edges of the white panel adds to the card’s rustic feel.

The finishing touches

A small bow on the tall pumpkin and a few Radiant Gems embellishments finish the card without taking attention away from the stenciling. The shaded “Hey” label ties everything together.

This design would also be lovely with a thank-you, thinking-of-you, or Thanksgiving sentiment. Use what you have and make it your own!
