Marcelyn Monday a little late…Happy 4th!

Marcelyn Churchill is my friend, Stamping Joy team member (Stamping Joy is my group of stampers from all over the USA), fellow BSFer (Bible Study Fellowship) and prolific crafter.  She doesn’t have a blog, so I share some of her creations on most Mondays.

Marcelyn has been making lots of Daisy cards trying to choose her favorites for our next round of classes. On Thursday July 11 at 1pm we are having a Daisy Lane class. We have two spots open to make eight Daisy cards and get a Daisy card box for $25. On Friday July 12 at 1pm Jean and I are hosting another Daisy class. There are four spots left for the Friday class. Please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com if you’d like to attend.

Marcelyn made this beautiful daisy card for my family and all of you to wish us a Happy 4th of July!

I hope those of you in USA have a wonderful 4th of July with family and friends!

Happy May Day!

Do you celebrate May Day where you live? In our neighborhood everyone celebrated May Day! I would help the kids make homemade baskets, sometimes it was Dixie cups with a pipe cleaner attached for the handle. We would usually fill them with half price Easter candy and popcorn. If there were three kids in a family, my kids would put three baskets on the doorstep, ring the door bell and run. What fun! They thought it was the best day ever!

This Mini May Day Treat Pouch is made with a 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP). The larger one is 8″ x 8″.

I did a Facebook Live last Wednesday and showed how to make the May Day treat pouches. The quality of the video isn’t great because of internet issues, but you will get the directions to make the Treat Pouch. You can find it on my Stamping Mom Facebook page.

Here’s the link to FB Live video on YouTube showing how to make the May Day Treat Pouches.

I’ll be on Live on my Stamping Mom Facebook page at noon CST today. Please come join me!

Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings,

Beth

Ryan graduated and Marcelyn Monday

Before Christmas, our son Ryan graduated from Iowa State with a degree in Software Engineering.  The best part is he has a job!  Here’s the card I made for him.  The Large Number Framelits have retired, but they will always be in my stash. 🙂  Numbers also happen to be the challenge over at Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog this week.  Head over to http://useyourstuff.blogspot.com/ and enter your card, 3-D item or scrapbook page containing numbers.  Please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com if you would like some help. 🙂

I am incredibly proud of Ryan!  I love this sentiment that came from the new, “Incredible Like You,” stamp set, which is in the 2019 Occasion Catalog on page 21.

Here’s my parents, Steve, Abby, Keegan and I showing love and support for Ryan!  At least I think Keegan is showing support…the sign he’s holding above Ryan’s head says, “future inventor of something useless.”

My Dad is a 1962 Iowa State graduate!  He greatly influenced all my kids and my three boys ended up becoming engineers at Iowa State, just like Grandpa! You can tell how proud Grandpa is here with Ryan and Cy!
