February Stampin’ Up Trip Achiever Blog Hop

I’m thrilled to be hopping with the Stampin’ Up! Trip Achievers again this month! The trip was cancelled and Stampin’ Up has given us cash to do something of our choice with the money. Steve and I just planned our replacement trip and you probably wouldn’t guess what we are doing.

We are driving a Winnebago Solis 59PX camper van from Forest City, Iowa to Alaska (about 4,000 miles) in 18 days and planning all kinds of crazy adventures along the way! We are fans of the show “Heartland,” so we’ll be stopping in Alberta, Canada to go horseback riding near where the show is filmed. We will be hiking in Banff and Jasper National Parks; Driving through the Yukon; Panning for gold; Camping in Denali; Seeing bear, moose and elk (hopefully not too closely!); and going salmon fishing and whale watching. Please subscribe to my blog here and YouTube channel here. We plan to show you what it is like to camp in a van for 18 days, and our adventures all along the way. Our adventure will begin on May 11, 2022. Thanks Stampin’ Up, all my customers and Stamping Mom’s Joy Team members for making this trip possible! We appreciate all of you!

Do you recognize the dies I used to make these cards? Yep, it’s the Rain Boots Dies. I love this diamond strip and had so much fun making different variations using these diamonds. The colors I used are Melon Mambo, Mango Melody, Coastal Cabana and Highland Heather. The “Happy Birthday” is from the Birthday Chick dies. I used the new Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels that will be available to customers on March 1. You can see all the supplies I used and click to order at the bottom of this post.

Here’s some more traditional Flowering Rain Boots Bundle cards.

I cut out the diamond strip in a variety of colors and just started playing with it. Do you enjoy this type of card making where you cut out a variety and see what looks good? Join Steve and I tomorrow on Tuesday, Feb 15, 2022 at 7pm Central on YouTube and we will be making some other versions of these Rain Boot die cards.

Which card is your favorite? Please leave a comment and let me know.

Tuesday April 19th is deadline to sign up for our next Stamp Camp that will be on April 29 and 30th. When you sign up, you’ll receive a card kit to make 12 projects with written and video directions.  You’ll also get a weekend of fun and 12 more live videos with 12 different projects for a total of 24 projects all using the Symbols of Fortune Suite. There will be fun folds, boxes, techniques and more.  Everything is recorded so if you can’t make it that weekend, you can watch the videos on a different day. Demos and customers alike love our quarterly Creativity Abounds Stamp Camps. Here’s what some of the participants had to say:

Linda D said, “I thoroughly enjoyed my first Creativity Abounds Stamp Camp! I loved the global perspective of demonstrators around the world, the projects in both the make and takes and those demonstrated in the lives. The schedule of having a live video every 2 hours and the tips every demonstrator shared while stamping. Although the Symbols of Fortune Suite was not on my radar, I will be ordering because the event was so awesome and I am sure the projects will be amazing!

Linda L said, “I love that I can catch the live videos, but also can go back even months later and watch any of them, especially the ones I missed. There is no pressure to be at the computer on time or it’s gone. I really enjoy making all the projects and all the tips from demos from all over the world. It’s fun to grab a friend and do the stamp camp together. If you already own the suite collection, you can order a similar amount and still get the card kit and stamp camp free.”

Here’s how to sign up for the Stamp Camp-If you purchase the Symbols of Fortune Suite Collection from me for $82.75 (on pages 22-24 of the Spring Mini Catalog), you’ll get everything for the Stamp Camp for FREE!  You’ll need the entire Suite Collection to make all the projects.  If you’ve already purchased that collection or would rather have a different bundle, you can spend $82.75 in my online store on anything you want, and still get the Stamp Camp free of charge.  You will need to get the ribbon, Polished Dots, Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper and Symbols of Fortune DSP to make the projects.

Stampin' Up Let's Set Sail Z fold card designed by demo Beth McCullough. Shop 24/7 and see more card and 3-D gift ideas at https://stampingmom.com/let's-set-sail #stampingmom #cute&simple4u

I made this fun Z fold card using the Let’s Set Sail Bundle and products from the On The Horizon Bundle. I think this would make a great masculine card. The New Horizons Designer Series Paper (DSP) may be the prettiest watercolor paper that Stampin’ Up has ever made. It did all the work to make the beautiful scene on this card.

It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge!  This week’s challenge #FF0101 is celebrating International Wetland Day which is Feb. 2nd.

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project. Incorporate THREE or more of the items in your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge  I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. If you want help entering, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’d be happy to help you!

From the Inspo List, I used birds, green, water, masculine, blue. Your entry doesn’t have to have anything to do with National Wetland Day.
