Flowering Tulips is a gorgeous bundle. I wasn’t sure how to put the tulips together, so I resisted using it.

Here’s the key that makes this set simple. There are three different die cut tulips you can make with this set. The dies on the left all have score lines to fold. They all use the small die cut for the center. The top two also need the mid size die. It all makes sense now, right? If using cardstock, the tulips look great with another color sponge daubered on. I found a new “Tulip” Designer Series Paper (DSP) to use. It’s called Waves of the Ocean and I love the way the tulips look made with this DSP! Just because the artists at Stampin’ Up design the products to be used one way, doesn’t mean we can’t find other creative ways to use them. It’s fun for me to look at a DSP, stamp or die and think of alternative uses. 🙂 Here’s a Live Video showing how to make this card. You can fast forward to the card making. 🙂 My husband, Steve, and I do live videos every Tuesday at 7pm Central. We would love to have you join us! You can subscribe to my You Tube channel here.

March Customer Thank You Cards

I am participating in Bruno and Kylie’s World Wide Training Group again this year and am excited to be part of their monthly Blog Hop.   The Blog Hop focuses on the Thank You cards that we are sending to our customers.

Stampin Up Daisy thank you card designed by demo Beth McCullough. Shop 24/7 and see more fun fold and 3-D gift ideas at https://stampingmom.com/march-customer-thank-you-cards-2 #stampingmom #cute&simple4u #stampinup #bright&happy

When making customer thank you cards, it’s fun to come up with something that shows a new idea, but yet it’s easy to mass produce. I was playing around on my Tuesday 7pm Central Live video on March 1, 2022 with the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks. See the video here. (Please subscribe to my YouTube channel here.) I used the Blending Brush and Highland Heather and this flower mask. I didn’t put ink everywhere and thought it looked pretty awesome. I tried adding a Basic White Daisy and knew that wasn’t the answer. After the Live video was over, I kept working on it and came up with this card. I punched out the Daffodil Daisy twice and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (SCEM) with the Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder. The Highland Heather center is embossed the Timeworn Type embossing folder. The Amazing Thanks dies are my favorite for thank you cards.

Ukraine Relief Fundraising Tutorial Bundle

In response to the ongoing crisis, we made a Ukraine Fundraising Card Making Tutorial Bundle. All the proceeds from the sale of these tutorials will be donated to the Red Cross as a contribution from the crafting community to the work they are carrying out with the people of Ukraine.

Who Are we? The Creativity Abounds Design Team is a group of 13 Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world. We come together every month to create a Tutorial Bundle with step by step directions and measurements in both inches and metric. We also hold a monthly blog hop and regular online Stamp Camps. The theme for the projects is blue/yellow or sunflowers. I know they are all going to inspire you in your card making – and of course you will be able to change the color of the projects to suit other occasions.

Stampin’ Up’s Statement of the Heart reads:

To LOVE what we do and SHARE what we love. As we help others enjoy creativity and worthwhile accomplishments In this we MAKE A Difference. The Creativity Abounds Design Team hope that in sharing what we love with you, together we might make a small difference.

How Can you Help? Purchase your Tutorial Bundle now and you can download it immediately. We hope you enjoy all the projects inside. Waterfront and Holiday Catalog Share 2018

Waterfront-

I had fun making cards with Amy Pousson-Noonan and her Mom, Marie, recently.  Marie wanted to make “Grandma Camp” invitations and here’s what we came up with.

This card is perfect for this week’s Use your Stuff Mood Board Challenge.  The idea is to look at the board and make something that inspires you from the board.  The tropical palm trees and blue water is what we used for our card.

You can use any picture to be inspired to make your card.  Head over to the Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog and enter.  Email me at Beth@StampingMom.com if you need help.

Amy is the President of the Des Moines Cycle Club and she was on a totally different card-making mission.  She wanted to mass produce thank yous for an event DM Cycle Club recently hosted.

We used the Note Card & Envelope pack to get these little notes done quickly.  The clubs colors are orange and blue.  I love the stamp set, Enjoy Life, and this biking image.  I do wish our biker on this stamp was wearing a helmet.  In our club, helmets are always required.  Here’s a joke we tell to inspire everyone to wear a bike helmet. “What do you call a biker without a helmet?…A donor!”  Get it?!  Maybe it is a bad joke, but biking without a helmet is extremely dangerous.  When Steve had his accident a couple weeks ago, his bike helmet saved his life and I am so grateful!

Stampin Up Enjoy Life bike cards designed by demo Beth McCullough. See more card and gift ideas at www.StampingMom.com #StampingMom #cute&simple4u

Here’s Amy with one of her cards.  If you live in the Des Moines area and are interested in cycling, you should check out the Des Moines Cycle Club

Here’s Marie making her card.  If you live in the Des Moines area, contact me and come make some cards soon!

Tonight is the last week of Pedal Off The Pounds 2018.  Another session will begin around May 1, 2019.  If you are a beginner biker or have a few pounds to lose, you should consider joining us. 🙂

Holiday Catalog Share

It’s Time for my 2018 Holiday Catalog Product Shares

Here’s what a few people had to say about past shares I’ve done:

“Beth, I just now had time to open my holiday share.  You did a wonderful job of separating all the paper and the ribbon and packaging everything. I know you spent a lot of time and effort.  Everything is so perfect, I can’t wait to start crafting.  Thanks again for the share. Donna”

“Beth, the paper share looks great. Thanks for all the careful labeling and packaging. I love all the papers. Also, the fast delivery. Thanks, Nancy”

Why participate in shares? Shares are an inexpensive way to sample the new Designer Series Papers, Ribbons, and Embellishments at a fraction of what it would cost you to purchase all of them yourself.   Customers and Demos alike love having a little bit of everything from the new catalog.  When you see that adorable card on Pinterest, you’ll be able to make it because you bought the “I want it all” share!

  • Your papers will be lovingly wrapped and identified to protect them; ribbons will be rolled; and embellishments will be placed into small plastic bags.  Your shares will be sent out via the US Postal Service.
