Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is Birthday Bash. We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, we would appreciate your comments because we enjoy hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The awesome New Horizons Designer Series Paper (DSP) makes a beautiful backdrop for our darling otter! Do you have this SAB Awesome Otters stamp set yet? It’s free with a $50 order through the end of February. The clouds are made with the Brilliant Rainbow Dies.
When you open the card, this otter pops out of the water in the center of the card. It’s fun to have a surprise inside your handmade card.
If you have any questions, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on March 9th. Our theme will be Cute Critters where our Design Team creates a project with any kind of animals, birds, butterflies or insects.
January 4 – February 28! Earn FREE Sale-A-Bration gifts at the $50 and $100 levels (total before shipping and tax). No limit to how many gifts you can earn based on increments of $50 or $100.
I am participating in Bruno and Kylie’s World Wide Training Group again this year and am excited to be part of their monthly Blog Hop. The Blog Hop focuses on the Thank You cards that we are sending to our customers.
Customers who order from me during February are getting one of these beautiful Art in Bloom cards. My card was cased from Ann Alexander. Ann’s card is shown below. I liked hers so much, I just had to make some!
I made my card in landscape, used Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather. I used Stampin’ Blends to color on the back of the Vellum card stock flowers. Pastel Pearls and Basic Pearls are the finishing touch on my card. Each card I’ve made turns out a little different.
Would you like to watch a live video on Tuesday February 8th, showing how to make this card? My husband, Steve, and I do a live video every Tuesday at 7pm Central. You can subscribe to my YouTube channel here and watch it live or go back and watch the replay.
Please join me and spend some time hopping from one Blog to another.
Tuesday April 19th is deadline to sign up for our next Stamp Camp that will be on April 29 and 30th. When you sign up, you’ll receive a card kit to make 12 projects with written and video directions. You’ll also get a weekend of fun and 12 more live videos with 12 different projects for a total of 24 projects all using the Symbols of Fortune Suite. There will be fun folds, boxes, techniques and more. Everything is recorded so if you can’t make it that weekend, you can watch the videos on a different day. Demos and customers alike love our quarterly Creativity Abounds Stamp Camps. Here’s what some of the participants had to say:
Linda D said, “I thoroughly enjoyed my first Creativity Abounds Stamp Camp! I loved the global perspective of demonstrators around the world, the projects in both the make and takes and those demonstrated in the lives. The schedule of having a live video every 2 hours and the tips every demonstrator shared while stamping. Although the Symbols of Fortune Suite was not on my radar, I will be ordering because the event was so awesome and I am sure the projects will be amazing!
Linda L said, “I love that I can catch the live videos, but also can go back even months later and watch any of them, especially the ones I missed. There is no pressure to be at the computer on time or it’s gone. I really enjoy making all the projects and all the tips from demos from all over the world. It’s fun to grab a friend and do the stamp camp together. If you already own the suite collection, you can order a similar amount and still get the card kit and stamp camp free.”
Here’s how to sign up for the Stamp Camp-If you purchase the Symbols of Fortune Suite Collection from me for $82.75 (on pages 22-24 of the Spring Mini Catalog), you’ll get everything for the Stamp Camp for FREE! You’ll need the entire Suite Collection to make all the projects. I love making treat boxes and 3-D gifts, but I wasn’t going to buy the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box die because I already own the Curvy Keepsakes Box from a few years ago.
Here’s one of my favorite original Curvy Keepsakes Box. This was a Valentine for my husband, Steve, a few years ago.
I made these “turkey” Curvy Keepsake Boxes as table gift for the “young adult and kid table” at my Thanksgiving Dinner a few years ago.
Fast forward to last week when I couldn’t resist getting these cute little boxes. I put 5 Hugs candy in my Mini Curvy Keepsake Box.
As you can see the Mini is a lot smaller than the original. I don’t regret owning both 🙂
You can totally see the size difference here.
It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge! If you want help entering, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’d love to help you!
