My dear friend, Marcelyn, who recently passed away, had a similar card made with the Plentiful Plants Suite in her stash. I’m not sure where she got her inspiration, but I made this card with #bright&happy colors in her honor. Marcelyn could look at any card and figure out how to make it. I sure do miss my sweet friend. I am comforted knowing that she is in heaven with the Lord.
I love how the macramé hanger looks like it’s hanging inside the window. I didn’t put too many plants inside so it wouldn’t look cluttered looking in through the front window.
This card does fold flat for mailing. If you were the original inspiration for Marcelyn’s card, please let me know so I can give you credit.
Directions:
- Pool Party 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Pool Party 1-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 2-3/4, 5-1/2, 8-1/4″
- Crumb Cake layers (4) 1″ x 2-1/2″
- Windows cut with 2nd largest long skinny rectangles from Stitched Rectangles
- Macramé hanger suspended on Window Sheet strip, Window Sheets covering window
