Here’s some more coffee cards made by me and others.
I didn’t become a coffee drinker until last year. Not sure how I made it through college without it. My very favorite coffee is Kona Vanilla Macadamia Nut. My favorite coffee shop is Mahalo’s Coffee shop in West Des Moines, IA. It’s a Hawaiian themed coffee shop that is adorable and smells so good. They make doughnuts in the shop, hence the good smell, but I don’t actually eat them. If you live in the Des Moines area, I’d love to meet you at Mahalo’s. Are you a coffee drinker? What’s your favorite?
These Coffee Cups Framelits make these cards fun and easy to make.
I love giving gift cards to the kid’s high school teachers because they totally don’t expect it! (Plus they deserve it!)
Well, we put the “W” flag away for the winter. The Chicago Cubs had a good run and we look forward to next year!
Steve’s Birthday is this week, so our sweet Ryan came home from college to rake leaves and go to a movie with Steve. He loves having Ryan as his “wing man.” We don’t do much with presents, but I bought something for Steve three months ago and hid it. The best part is, I remembered I had done that and actually found it and wrapped it up this weekend. The reason I’m a little shocked the present thing worked out, is because I do have some memory difficulties. I had cottage cheese before going to church and when we got back home, Steve found this in the cabinet.
LOL OK, so I meant to put it in the refrigerator. 🙂
On a more positive note, I’ve been making roast beef in the crock pot once a week. Since Ryan was coming home, I made this on Sunday. It’s chuck roast cooked on low in the crock pot all day, with caramelized onions, havarti cheese on sour dough bread. Everyone was pretty much in tummy heaven. I think they’ll keep me around for awhile longer, even though I occasionally store the cottage cheese in the cupboard!
Please leave a comment at the top of this post. I’d love to hear your favorite coffee or if you’d like to tell me I’m not the only one with memory issues!

I love you projects. Thank you for sharing your designs.
lol I have already on my way to church put the milk where the cera-eal goes and the cereal in frig!! lol Way too much on our minds!! By the way your cards are awesome! Thanks for sharing. And will you share your roast beef recipe???
You are not the only one with memory problems. I put ice cream in the refrigerator recently instead of the freezer. I can’t blame anyone but me because I live alone and I doubt the dog or the cat did it. I like to think it is because we have so much else on our minds that we just sometimes have a lapse. BTW…love those cards. That is one set I didn’t think I ‘had’ to have, but here lately it is looking like I do.
Love the story about the cottage cheese! I was in West Des Moines yesterday. Mike had a doctor’s appt and I went with him and did a teeny bit of shopping before we headed up. I have seen the name of the coffee shop but never been there. I am a tea person or Diet Coke. But, I love coffee ice cream and tiramisu etc. that is coffee flavored – go figure. Love your cards and just might have to CASE the first one today!
Great card ideas! I love that bundle!
How do you cook your roast in your crock pot? Do you put the onions in with the roast? This looks like “something different” than my usual roast in the crock pot. I think it would be gobbled up!k
Oh my! I have done the same with other items! I told my Mr. Hubster that I’m just keeping him on his toes! LOL! The Cards are great! I may have to CASE a few of them! I do like the gift cards!
Take care and many Blessings for you and your family…btw…love the Pot Roast idea! Havarti Cheese…hmmmm! Sounds Good, will have to try!
Love your stories about family and I love a good rump roast in the crock pot. I’m going to do one this week and shred it for sandwiches.
Funny about the cottage cheese! I don’t think I’ve done that but I have such a time with names any more! Not to fret.
My favorite coffee is Folgers plain! I know, very old school.
