Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for February 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes. This month we are CASE-ing a project shown in a current Stampin’ Up! catalog. After all, with the Annual, Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs available right now, there is much inspiration to choose from. We hope you enjoy our creations.
You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below. The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.
Do you think there is too much “party” in the card above to the left? I toned it down in the card on the right. I’m curious which one you like better?
Above is the card I CASEd from the Occasions catalog on page 47. Do you see they marked it “Quick & Easy” in the catalog. Yep, that’s my kind of card. In fact I already CASEd this card back in December, please see that card Here.
I needed a Sympathy card so I CASEd it one more time. I love the new Timeless Textures I stamped behind the butterfly.

Some of you have been asking about the kids results from the State Speech contest last weekend. Abby is a junior and her Television Newscast Performing group was selected for All State! Keegan’s One Act play did well, but was not selected for All State. He is now practicing for a vocal solo contest and will soon be trying out for Valley High School’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory musical. We’ve been teasing him that he probably shouldn’t try out to be a Oompa Loompa. Keegan is too tall at 6’3″!
Please leave me a question or comment. I’d love to hear from you!
Blessings,
Beth 🙂

I agree, all super cute. My favorite was the first one. No such thing as too much party. 😉
Thanks for the sweet comments. I like the sympathy card the best too!
Beth, all of these cards are darling! Truthfully, I like the sympathy card the best. It’s really beautiful! Good job!!
Love the case. All of them. I do like the printed balloon best. First thought was it was really eye catching.
Beth… decisions, decisions.. I like them all. As far as the balloon card goes… I like the “too much party” card on the left. Guess I’m just a party kinda gal.
Wow! Love your cards and the way you show all the different takes on the design. Great job!
First off, I really love your butterfly CASE! I do tend to lean towards the one on the right for the other. The balloon in a solid paper allows the DSP to pop.
I gotta say I like them both, but the one with the plain balloon pops a bit more.
Beth, this is a perfect CASE. Adorable!
Cute! They are all wonderful cards for different reasons. Love your sympathy card! Butterflies are perfect for them and yours is beautiful!
Sweet layout… I see why you chose it to CASE. On your first question, I think I do like the sample on the right just a bit better. Love the butterfly sympathy card… will be CASEing your version too!
