Mother’s Day…a little late

Here are the cards I made for our mothers.  Even though I’m posting this in June, our Mom’s got them on time.  Steve and I have awesome mothers, and I wanted to make them something special.  I love the Framed Tulips embossing folder.  I even used this on my sister’s wedding invitations.  Unfortunately, it is retired now.  I use the Elegant and Bitty Butterfly punches all the time.  They are a must have for any crafter.20140622-200140-72100821.jpg

On this card I used the Pansy punch and Petite Petals punch which are both current.  I also used the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack which is now retired.  Well, which one do you like better?  I hope both our Mothers liked the one they got.20140622-200140-72100509.jpg

Happy Easter

Here is a bunny card I made for my nephew, Liam. I hope he gets it in time. Since he’s only two, I suppose he won’t know the difference if it arrives after Easter.  Do you like the pearl for a tail?

I used the Stampin Up set called, “Eggstra Spectacular”  This set has a really cute lamb image too.  The colors are crumb cake and pool party.  The DSP is from SAB 2014 called Sweet Sorbet.  I think it might be my favorite DSP ever.  I also used the Starburst Framelits from the 2014 Occasions catalog.  The products in this catalog are available through June 1, 2014  The ribbon is 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon which may be the easiest ribbon to tie a bow with.  I hope this ribbon comes in more colors when the new Stampin Up catalog arrives June 1, 2014.

This card idea was CASE’d from Mary Fish.

Valentine Treats

Here are the Valentine treats that my daughter took to school to share with some of her friends.  I used the Stampin’ Up Hostess set Perfectly You and cut them out using the Hearts A Flutter Framelits.  The 1″ x 8″ cellophane bags are from Stampin’ Up too.
