More Christmas Fudge Boxes

It was getting late last night, when Steve told me he wanted to take fudge to some coworkers in the morning.  He already had the fudge made, so I started making boxes.  Good thing these don’t take long.  I used various papers from Merry Moments Designer Series Paper.  When I show you the pictures, you’ll see why I told you how late it was.  I didn’t realize until he had already taken the fudge to work, that all my pictures are blurry.  I’m going to show you anyway because the boxes are cute and I want to show you the two tone bows.  I really liked how these turned out.

I think anything with polka dots is cute, blurry or not!

Which one do you like?

The fudge is 2×2 squares wrapped in Saran Wrap.

After I had the six boxes finished, Steve told me he miscounted and needed one more.  You can tell in the picture the count stayed steady at six.  I’ll make more tomorrow.

How are your Christmas preparations going?

Blessings,

Beth 🙂

Quick and Easy Thank You

I needed a quick and easy thank you card today.  Do you recognize the polka dot paper?  Yep, it’s “Halloween” paper called Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper.  January 4 is the last day you can order this paper from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog.

Here’s the inside.  “You’re the best” and the flower are from the stamp set Watercolor Words.

I hope my friend and upline, Ann, is excited when this thank you card arrives in the mail.

Beth 🙂

Steve’s Famous Fudge!

fudge

I’ve told you before that my husband, Steve, is the “Second best fudge maker” in the State of Iowa according to the Iowa State Fair. (Our family and friends know he’s actually #1!)  Anyway, at Christmas time his fudge making goes into high gear.  Every year I come up with a new way to package the fudge.  This year the boxes are smaller.  Now that Steve has lost a lot of weight, he feels like he should be handing out fudge in smaller quantities. 🙂

This first box is my “rustic” fudge box.  I love the wooden Snowflake Elements.

Here’s the “fancy” fudge box.  I wasn’t sure if I could use the Silver Glimmer Paper with the Bow Builder punch, but it worked great!

I used the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to make my “snowflake” fudge box.
